We are excited to share the results from the first European multicenter clinical investigation of the Sentio System.
Fifty-one patients with conductive/mixed hearing loss or single-sided deafness participated, and the outcomes speak for themselves:
Significant audiological improvements:
o Average functional gain was 33 dB and effective gain was 9 dB
o 98% speech recognition in quiet
o Improved speech-in-noise performance
High patient satisfaction:
o 96% reported improved quality of life
o Sound quality was perceived as natural by 80% of patients and there were limited feedback issues reported
Safe and efficient surgery and only few and minor adverse events.

These results confirm that the Sentio System is a safe, effective, and patient-centered solution for bone conduction hearing.

Today we honour National Microtia Awareness Day!
Microtia is a rare congenital condition where one or both ears don’t fully develop, often paired with hearing loss. Every year, hundreds of families begin a journey they never expected — but they’re not alone.
Microtia is a congenital deformity of the outer ear (pinna). It is often accompanied by atresia, which is the absence of an ear canal. These conditions occur in approximately 1 out of 9,000-12,000 births and results in conductive hearing loss. 70 percent of children with microtia also have atresia.

Let’s raise awareness, spread kindness, and celebrate the beauty of differences. 🧡

Have you had your hearing checked lately?
Just like your regular health check-ups, your hearing deserves attention too—especially as you get older.
Hearing loss often starts slowly—and many don’t notice it right away.

You might:
Turn up the TV or phone volume
Ask people to repeat themselves
Struggle to follow conversations in noisy places
Hear ringing or buzzing in your ears

Just like your regular health check-ups, your hearing deserves attention too. If you’re concerned, speak to an audiologist.

Fact: Your ears don’t lose all sounds at once

One of the first signs of hearing loss isn’t volume—it’s clarity.
Sounds like “s,” “f,” and “th” often fade before vowels, making speech harder to understand even if it still feels loud enough.
If you or your child often say “What?” or mix up words, it might be time to check your hearing.
