We were grateful to welcome , MOS and MOS .pei.ming to our IDHealth Clinic last week, and for the opportunity to share more about the work we do alongside our patients with intellectual disabilities and their caregivers.
Beyond a tour of the space, the visit opened up meaningful conversations where our guests heard firsthand the experiences, challenges, and small moments that shape each care journey.
We believe that seeing these interactions up close offers a deeper, more nuanced understanding of what it takes to provide holistic, person-centred care for persons with intellectual disabilities. These moments matter in helping to shift perceptions and strengthen how care can be designed and delivered across the system.
We’re thankful for the openness and the time taken to listen and learn with us, and carry forward the hope that what was experienced will continue to open doors for more thoughtful, compassionate care for persons with intellectual disabilities and their families.
