Happee Hearts Movement

Happee Hearts Movement Happee Hearts is a movement to advocate the awareness & need to improve the healthcare services currently available to persons with intellectual disability

Dr Chen Shiling is a doctor who has volunteered for more than 20 years with the intellectually disabled in Singapore, and has since started a medical service for persons with intellectual disability. Her eventual aim is to improve the awareness of this special population of people to the general public, and also to improve the provision and accessibility of healthcare services to all of the Intellectually Disabled in Singapore. With the aid of governmental and non-governmental partners, her goal is to provide a specialised centre with both centre-based and home-based care that will be able to facilitate all levels of support ie. nursing, allied health, social workers, for adult persons with intellectual disability and their families.
