Sarah Barguirdjian, E-RYT500, began her Yoga practice as a teenager and has since immersed herself in various styles including Iyengar, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Anusara and Yin. She has taught Yoga since 2007 having completed her advanced training with Noah Maze and other extensive trainings with Christina Sell, Desiree Rumbaugh, Sarah Powers, Judith Hanson Lasater and others. Sarah leads workshops, retreats and trainings all over the world. She teaches with a clear purpose, clarity in the details and with utmost duty of care to her students. Her teaching is known for its intense commitment to learning combined with humour, warmth and loving kindness. Sarah is the mother of two wonderful boys, one of whom has ASD and ADHD. This has inspired her to also provide dedicated courses, retreats and workshops for parents of children with special needs. Sarah remains an avid Yoga student, always progressing her own practice and knowledge to keep her and her students' learning inspired. “My hope is to guide people to cultivate more depth of self-awareness and become better, happier versions of themselves through passing forward all that has helped me from this amazing world of Yoga.”
Sarah has been published in various magazines including Elephant Journal, Expat Living and YogiTimes and is now based in the UK after 30 years in Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Spain and Singapore.
