ASCVTS 2025 concluded after 4 days of impactful learning, international exchange, and meaningful connections.

From the Pre-Congress workshops to engaging sessions and the Gala Dinner, the Congress brought together a global community shaping the future of cardiothoracic surgery. Professor Theodoros Kofidis reflected on the Congress as a unifying platform of scientific depth and shared purpose.

He closed with a resonant message: Keep making a difference—in our work, in our communities, and in the lives we touch.

The Main Congress officially commenced today with the Opening Ceremony and a keynote lecture by Professor Kishore Mahbubani, a distinguished Singaporean diplomat, academic, and author. With a storied career in international policy spanning over three decades, he served as Singapore’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations and twice presided over the UN Security Council.

Throughout the day, attendees participated in four concurrent tracks comprising symposium sessions and oral presentations — each providing meaningful opportunities for knowledge exchange and professional engagement.

Over the next two days, the programme will feature live demonstrations, expert panel discussions, and practical case-based sessions. 🏅7 Sages of CTV Surgery in Asia – A highlight of the programme is a special segment recognising seven distinguished surgeons whose lifelong contributions have profoundly influenced the field across Asia.
