Three decades ago, I began a journey that would forever change my heart. Looking back on 30 years of midwifery, "honour" and "privilege" are the two words that resonate most.

From the UK to Singapore, Jersey to Africa and China—every birth has been a unique story of strength and hope. To the families who have invited me into their most sacred spaces: thank you. It has been the greatest joy of my life to watch you become parents and to witness the power of an empowered birth.

As a mum, my heart breaks for those longing to be moms. After celebrating all women this week, today is dedicated to celebrating my Mum and all the remarkable moms who’ve guided me along the way. 🌸🎉

To my incredible husband, thank you for giving me two amazing sons. You three are my pillars of grace, kindness, patience, and gentle strength. Cheers to the challenges that make us stronger! 🤗💕

And to my sons, O&T, I hope to be a great “mum” to your future wives one day. Grateful for the endless love and lessons you’ve brought into my life. 🌟👶
