The songs that haunt you, take you back to moments and spaces that have been forgotten and remembered at the same time.

Here’s my wish for you:
May you heal someday knowing what you know and moving with it.
May you hear the melody someday without being sucked in to the past without your permission.
May you find what you have lost- love, innocence, faith or trust.

May you find yourself back one day 🌺

Feeling mentally drained by even the smallest choices?

You might be dealing with decision fatigue — a sneaky kind of burnout that happens when your brain gets overloaded with too many decisions throughout the day.

From “What should I wear?” to “Should I answer that email now or later?”, every choice chips away at your mental energy. Eventually, it leads to poor decisions, procrastination, or avoiding choices altogether.

Here’s how to fight back:
✅ Establish + Simplify your routines (like meal prepping or outfit planning)
✅ Prioritize high-impact decisions for when your mind is freshest
✅ Set out few mental If (this) then (this) formulas to simplify the decision making processes

Think about:
What’s one decision you can automate or delegate today?

Taking a break as I spend time with my 94 year old grandmother.

Sharing chocolates, reminiscing about the days gone by and learning yet again about unconditional love.

I am where things are pure, beautiful and unsullied. This is where I heal so that I can heal others better.

Healing & aspects of spirituality are connected for me (personally).

Spirituality is about:
• Connecting to something greater (God, the Universe, Nature, Higher Self, etc.)
• Seeking meaning and purpose
• Living in alignment with your values and essence
• Developing inner peace and awareness

Spirituality doesn’t require religion — it’s the personal experience of connection beyond the material.

Spiritual Growth Often Triggers Healing

The word “heal” comes from the root “to make whole.”
Spirituality, too, seeks wholeness — union with Self, Source, or Universe.
They work hand in hand to reconnect you with your true essence.

Healing is about healing in all possible ways. I personally dip in to spiritual knowledge along with my scientific training to complete my therapeutic understanding of healing.

In every growth story, there will be the naysayers, the envious, and the pessimists.

In every growth story, there will be the challenges, the losses & the loneliness.

In every growth story, the protagonist, you, will want to fit in, stagnate, and not move forward.

But you will. That’s who you are.
You are fated to grow

At the core of this stance lie the awareness & the acceptance of emotions - in a mindful way.

Yes, easier said than done. However, the more you practice mindfulness, the more you are able to accept discomfort due to emotions. Instead of knee- jerk reactions, it helps you to take decisions based on your values (instead of taking actions to avoid discomfort/ in a triggered state).

The key points are:
1. Awareness of the present moment (and the emotions)
2. Acceptance (rather than avoidance, escape or denial of emotions)
3. Taking actions aligned with values even when faced with emotions that cause discomfort

Awareness & acceptance of emotions are prioritised in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy.

This is a pandemic- everyone trying to be the best version of themselves. Although, it’s a good thing (mostly), sometimes, it comes at a cost.

Burnout
Low self worth
Anxiety
Tiredness
Stress
Loneliness
Emptiness
Lack of joy
Health issues
Etc.

I see this the most in people in their 20s & 30s but it can actually be applicable to most people.

A gentle suggestion:
Take a break from your own expectations, from societal expectations & from the social media expectations.

Every once in a while, such breaks are needed.
The joy is in this moment of doing nothing and expecting nothing. It’s called being content.

Sigh! All these self help videos and books that we read are making us stressed (and fake)!

If you don’t know the right words to say to someone going through a setback, or pain, just be present. The fact that you heard them is sometimes, all that they needed.
