When was the last time you had your eyes 👀 examined?
Our eyes may only be ~2.5cm in size, but an eye test does not simply comprise of a power check, alike your doctor does not just check your blood pressure during a health check. Find out what a comprehensive eye exam consists of https://icareanywhere.com.sg/eye-examinations/ and here are some of the reasons why everyone should have a comprehensive eye exam:
• 80% of what children are learning in and outside the school requires good vision.
• Early detection of eye diseases – glaucoma, also known as the ‘Thief of Sight’ does not present with symptoms during the early stages and is usually detected through a routine eye exam.
• Our retina (a film at the back of our eye) is the only part of our body which allows us to examine blood vessels without going under the knife. By examining the blood vessels, we could determine if someone has any health conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure and/or high cholesterol.
If you have never had a comprehensive eye exam done or it has been more than 2 years since your last eye exam, schedule an appointment with us now.
