Can relieve
1. Shoulder blade pain
✅ Helpful if: Pain is due to tight upper back, rhomboids, or poor thoracic mobility.
Rotation opens up the thoracic spine and stretches muscles between the shoulder blades.
Not ideal if the pain is from shoulder joint injury or acute inflammation.
2. Hip pain
✅ Helpful if: Pain is from tight hip rotators or glutes.
The forward step and inward foot angle gently mobilize the hip joint and stretch glute/piriformis muscles.
Less effective if hip pain comes from joint arthritis or labral issues—then movements should be more controlled.
3. Lower back pain
✅ Helpful if: Pain is from muscle stiffness, poor posture, or limited rotation.
Slight knee bend and controlled rotation reduce lumbar compression and relieve tightness.
Avoid if pain is from disc herniation aggravated by rotation—then keep rotation minimal.
4. Sciatica
✅ Helpful if: Sciatica is caused by muscle tightness, piriformis, or minor lumbar nerve irritation.
Rotation + hip/hamstring stretch can reduce nerve tension.
Avoid sharp shooting pain down the leg—stop immediately if that occurs ゚
