Our Story

Perennial Holdings Private Limited ("Perennial") is an integrated real estate and healthcare company headquartered in Singapore. As a real estate owner, developer and manager, Perennial focuses strategically on large-scale mixed-use developments and has a presence in China, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar and Sri Lanka with a combined portfolio spanning approximately 80 million square feet in gross floor area. Perennial is also a healthcare services owner, operator and provider in China with three core business segments, being hospitals and medical centres, integrated healthcare hubs, as well as eldercare and senior housing. Perennial’s integrated eldercare services include nursing care, medical care, rehabilitation care and dementia care, and it has a presence in ten Chinese cities with over 10,000 operating beds and a committed pipeline of approximately 5,000 beds. In China, Perennial is a dominant commercial developer with largescale mixed-use integrated developments. Five of Perennial's developments, Chengdu East High Speed Railway ("HSR") Integrated Development, Xi’an North HSR Integrated Development, Perennial Tianjin South HSR International Healthcare and Business City, Perennial Kunming South HSR International Healthcare and Business City and Hangzhou West HSR Integrated Development, are situated adjacent to five of the country’s largest HSR stations, majority of which are regional healthcare and commercial hubs which comprise medical, healthcare and eldercare facilities. Other notable projects in Perennial’s portfolio include Beijing Tongzhou Integrated Development and Shenyang Longemont Integrated Development. In Singapore, Perennial has invested in and/or manages prime iconic properties, such as Capitol Singapore, CHIJMES, AXA Tower, Chinatown Point, House of Tan Yeok Nee, Perennial Business City and Caldecott Hill site, located in the Civic District, Central Business District, Orchard Road precinct, Jurong Lake District and premium residential areas.

Perennial Holdings has unveiled its refreshed brand identity across its group and core business verticals of medical, eldercare, real estate and hospitality, which it will transition into on 18 August 2025. This initiative follows the Company’s successful recalibration towards a healthcare-led, real estate-enabled strategy, evolving from a pure real estate company established in 2009, into an integrated healthcare and real estate company.

The refreshed brand architecture encompasses a unified logo and standardised naming system across all sub-brands. This design provides clarity of the Company’s four distinct business verticals, while leveraging the established Perennial Holdings’ legacy. It also showcases the Company’s new business model focused on its medical care and eldercare business lines, underpinned by real estate and hospitality.

Perennial Holdings is pleased to announce that it has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with the Lujiazui Administrative Bureau of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone and Shanghai Lujiazui (Group) Co., Ltd., under which Perennial Holdings will incorporate a foreign medical investment company in the Lujiazui District to establish Shanghai’s first wholly foreign-owned tertiary general hospital (“Perennial General Hospital Shanghai”).

Perennial General Hospital Shanghai is expected to be established at a total investment cost of RMB500 million with a planned capacity of 500 beds, built according to international standards, integrating advanced medical equipment and technology, and global service standards.

Perennial Holdings has today, signed an agreement with Guangzhou Metro to establish the first wholly foreign-owned Tertiary General Hospital in Guangzhou and Southern China. Perennial Holdings will lease approximately 105,000 square metres of space and invest approximately RMB1 billion to establish a tertiary general hospital and a specialist hospital at the Southeast Tower of Yuesheng Plaza, which is adjacent to the Baiyun High Speed Railway station in Guangzhou. The two medical facilities will have a total planned capacity of over 600 beds.

Separately, Perennial Holdings is also developing an integrated eldercare project in Guangzhou's Huangpu District. The project will feature a rehabilitation hospital, nursing home and an eldercare home, ensuring a seamless continuum of care that addresses the diverse needs across the Greater Bay Area for quality eldercare, professional rehabilitation and nursing care.

Perennial Holdings will open and operate China’s first fully foreign-owned hospital in Tianjin, following China’s announcement in November that it would permit wholly owned foreign hospitals in nine regions, including Tianjin.

The 500-bed Perennial General Hospital Tianjin has successfully passed an inspection by the Tianjin Municipal Health Commission, received its medical institution practice license, and will soon begin operations.

INTEGRATED real estate and healthcare player Perennial Holdings will open and operate China's first entirely foreign-owned hospital in Tianjin, the group announced on Monday (Dec 16). Read more at The Business Times.
