We thank the Sonova Group Asia team for hosting our Amazing Hearing audiologist Winnie Ling, Dr Sharad Govil, and Aditi Chakravarti at the Phonak Asia Meeting 2025 in Shanghai.

The event marked the launch of the 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐤 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐨 𝐑 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨, Phonak’s smallest and first rechargeable in the ear (ITE) hearing aid. With its discreet design and advanced sound quality, we look forward to offering it in Singapore soon. Currently, the 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐤 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐨 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨 𝐍𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 is already available at Amazing Hearing.

Our team also visited the Sonova Grand Hearing Institute, which demonstrates Sonova’s strong commitment to audiology education. There, we learnt about the advanced process of 3D modelling to manufacturing custom hearing aids, ensuring a precise customized fit.

Events like these allow us to learn about new innovations, connect with other professionals, and bring those insights back to improve the way we serve our patients.

We are delighted to announce that Amazing Hearing is expanding our care services to now include Speech and Language Therapy, led by our Principal Speech Therapist Aditi Chakravarti.

Speech and Language Therapy can benefit individuals of all ages with communication challenges, including speech, language, and social communication. This may include: Children with developmental delays, hearing loss, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), or social communication disorders, as well as Adults with speech or language difficulties.

🌟 Meet Aditi Chakravarti 🌟

Aditi is an experienced Speech-Language Therapist with over 20 years of practice across Singapore and New Zealand. Her career spans voluntary welfare organisations, hospitals, schools, private practice, and leadership roles in inclusive education.

She holds a Master of Science in Speech and Hearing from the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, University of Mysore. In her career, she has worked with AWWA, the Ministry of Education in New Zealand, and the National University Hospital in Singapore. In 2015, she founded The Learning Umbrella, a private practice she led for nearly a decade. Most recently, she was Head of Therapy and Pastoral Care at The Winstedt School, where she developed a comprehensive support framework for K–12 inclusive education.

Her clinical interests include childhood language, auditory processing, and auditory rehabilitation for adults. Passionate about inclusion, Aditi believes therapy should be seamlessly embedded into daily life, helping every individual reach their potential.

At Amazing Hearing, we believe that hearing and communication go hand in hand and we are proud to bring together Audiology and Speech-Language Therapy under one roof.

The Amazing Hearing Group team had the privilege of attending the 2025 hosted by WSAudiology SEA in Suzhou, China.
