Connecting with our neighbours and the community! 🌟

Last Saturday, SACH had a wonderful time hanging out with the community at Viasta, organised by the Changi Simei Community Club for the residents in the area.

From trying their hand at air-dried clay to learning more about the activities we conduct at our community hospital, it was heartening to see so many residents drop by to unleash their creativity and connect with us.

A huge thank you to Changi Simei Community Club for having us, and to all the residents for making our day so bright!

We are proud to celebrate our Medical Director, Dr Angel Lee, on receiving the Singapore Palliative Care Lifetime Achievement Award at the opening ceremony of the Singapore Palliative Care Conference 2026.

From her early days as a doctor volunteering in the 1990s to becoming a pioneer of palliative medicine in Singapore, Dr Lee has devoted her life to advancing compassionate, patient-centred care. Her leadership has shaped hospital-based palliative care, strengthened multidisciplinary teams, and expanded services across inpatient, community, and home settings.

Her contributions extend beyond institutions - she has played a pivotal role in advancing national strategies, championing Advance Care Planning, and mentoring generations of healthcare professionals.

Above all, Dr Lee’s unwavering commitment to patients and their loved ones continues to inspire all of us.

Thank you, Dr Angel Lee, for all that you do for your patients, their families, and our community. 💙

This Day brought together giving hearts across our Community Hospitals, Senior Care Centres, Active Ageing Centres and Migrant Worker Medical Centre. 💙

Held at Gardens by the Bay, our volunteers enjoyed a fun-filled morning under the spring cherry blossoms while engaging in a leisurely amazing race. 🌸
