Mama Story

(1) On a recent fine day, as usual, the Post Uncle whom deliver mail to the Haji Lane to Beach Road neighbourhood, dropped two special postcards at Mama Store
(2) (3) Post Card Messages A and B
(4) Mama Store Uncle, me, read the messages, and froze. The waves of emotions of warmth and encouragement about to Tsunami-ed. It also sparked a bewilderment, “Who is this kindest sender?”
(5) Could it be a secret admirer - Nonya Miss Baba..?
(6) Or secret admirer Haji Lane in-charge - URA Mr. Fine … …
(7) perhaps, it is Haji backlane’s nail pedicurist, Ah Muei???

(8) Regardless of who it could be, I convey my thankfulness to this Mama supporter. You are amazing and you sowed a seed of hope, kindness and encouragement on the soil of 59a Haji Lane.

These craft cards have replaced the original plastic packaging to carry space for one to leave an imprint from their hand-heart connection - a piece of their earnest reflection, be it a handwritten message, or a little caricature.
