Our Story

The Community Psychology Hub (CPH) provides psychological and research services in collaboration with partners in the social service and public sector to care for persons with disabilities/vulnerabilities and their families in the community.

Our psychologists are deployed to Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWOs) to provide a range of psychological services, including assessments and behavioural support. The focus is the disability sector, with early intervention for children with developmental disabilities as the key focus. We also provide psychological services for adults with developmental disabilities and vulnerable adults. At the moment, we are only able to attend to clients within the VWOs and are not able to accept walk-in cases.

Our researchers specialise in policy, assessment and intervention research for persons with disabilites/vulnerabilities using data analytics, programme evaluation and implementation science. As the first hub model for psychologists in Singapore, we have an opportunity to come together to build up the social service psychological services. We can also dream big to imagine and shape the role of a psychologist based in the community. You can look forward to numerous training and learning opportunities to enhance your professional and personal development. With formal supervision and peer support forming an integral part of our work culture, you will learn from the best through interactions with peers or receiving guidance from senior professionals.
