Held at IMH Atrium Space, our recent art therapy exhibition brought together residents, staff, and guests in a moving showcase of creativity, connection, and care. 💛

Featuring the heartfelt works of resident-artists from ECON Nursing Home – Buangkok, the exhibition was more than an art display—it was a celebration of personal stories, resilience, and expression.

From a joyful musical performance to a hands-on art corner, every moment invited reflection and community. Visitors explored not just artwork, but the journeys behind each stroke.

🌸 Father’s Day Fun & Smiles Across Generations! 🌸

What a delightful morning at ECON Healthcare Yio Chu Kang as we welcomed the cheerful little ones from Kinderland Singapore! From vibrant dance performances to sticker games that had both kids and seniors laughing together, it was a true showcase of intergenerational joy.

The highlight? A heartfelt cake-cutting moment where residents and children gathered around, singing, clapping, and sharing sweet slices of cake—creating memories that bridge generations and warm the heart.

🌸 A Mother’s Day to Remember 🌸

Our Yio Chu Kang nursing home came alive with joy as the little ones from Kinderland Singapore paid a special visit in celebration of Mother’s Day.

Each child arrived with a lovingly hand-crafted, rainbow-coloured paper flower — a simple yet powerful gesture that brought light to our residents’ hearts. These handmade blooms weren’t just gifts; they were tokens of pure affection that bridged generations.

The room echoed with giggles, applause, and warm chatter as the children also delighted residents with energetic dance performances. The celebration ended on a sweet note with a heartfelt cake-cutting ceremony — a resident gently sliced the cake amid soft applause, sealing the afternoon with smiles all around.

It was more than a visit; it was a moment of genuine intergenerational connection — filled with joy, innocence, and love. 💐❤️

🎶🧧 Ringing in the Chinese New Year with the melodious tunes by the Chinese Orchestra, our nursing home in Henderson was filled with the festive sounds of familiar CNY songs, played beautifully by the Chinese Orchestra.
We are exceptionally proud of our residents, Mr Ng and Mr Tan who also performed using music desk bells. An absolutely heartwarming display of intergenerational harmony.
The festivities didn’t stop there. A CNY celebration wouldn’t be complete without a ‘Lou Hei’! The celebration concluded on a high with a special ‘Lou Hei’ prepared by the students and our staff volunteers.
Everyone had a fantastic time, truly embodying the spirit of community and celebration this Lunar New Year. 🥢🥗
We are grateful for such moments that bring different generations together, making the celebration of CNY even more special.
Thank you Singapore Polytechnic Chinese Orchestra & for making this possible ! 🎊🎉
