Ankle dislocations occur when bones of the ankle joint are forcefully displaced from their normal position, resulting in severe pain, swelling, soreness and inability to bear weight on the affected ankle.

Treatment for ankle dislocations will vary depending on the alignment of the bones and stability of the ankle joint.

Mobility aids such as a short leg cast or walking boot are usually reserved for fractures with stable joint and no displaced bones.

For serious fractures in which bones are misaligned with unstable joint, surgical intervention that repositions the bone fragments and holds them in place with special screws and metal plates is necessary.

Shoulder tendonitis refers to the inflammation of the rotator cuff or biceps tendon in the shoulder, resulting in pain, swelling, and limited mobility.

This condition is usually associated with overuse (e.g. in sports that involve repetitive overhead motions) or sudden strain on the shoulder tendons (e.g. a fall).

Treatment for shoulder tendonitis varies depending on the severity of injury.

Achilles tendon rupture can manifest as a partial or complete tear, commonly experienced by athletes engaged in activities that involve a lot of running, jumping and pivoting.

Achilles tendon rupture typically causes sharp pain at the back of the ankle and lower leg, along with a popping sound and difficulty walking.

For cases of partial tearing of the Achilles tendon, anti-inflammatory medications and physiotherapy may be used to treat.
