Adelphi Psych Medicine Clinic Adelphi Psych Medicine Clinic’s psychiatrists and psychologists specialise in women and children mental health, recovery from trauma, healing and grief.

The treatment modalities offered include specialist psychiatric care, eye movement desensitisation reprocessing, art psychotherapy, mindfulness therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, graduated exposure therapy and clinical hypnosis. Adelphi Psych Medicine Clinic’s specialty area is in Forensic Psychiatry, a sub-specialty in psychiatry which addresses medico-legal related issues such as assessment of legal competencies for making of wills, lasting power of attorney, fitness for court appearances and assessment of recidivism risk. The clinic offers psychotherapy, an evidence-based therapeutic approach for improving mental health well-being. Psychotherapy is individualized and may be used together with medication. The types of therapy available include:

- Art Psychotherapy
- Clinical Hypnosis (for performance and resolution of symptoms)
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Grief Therapy

As young adults in Singapore enter the workforce, they take with them many mental health challenges. With this new chapter in their life, they often don’t know what to expect, or who to turn to. Depression, anxiety, and stress can all affect a young adult starting a job for the first time. The National Trades Union Congress and mental health clinics have both dedicated time, energy, and resources into supporting the needs of employed Singapore youth.
