It'll Be Alright SG

It'll Be Alright SG It'll Be Alright (IBA) Singapore is a youth mental health project started by Singaporean Youth, for youth in our community.

This project is mentored by Minister of State for Education and Social and Family Development, Sun Xueling. Project: It'll Be Alright (IBA) is a youth mental health project started by a group of Singaporean Youth that had a common goal in driving mental wellness within Singapore - starting with collecting and sharing stories of mental health struggles and resilience. At IBA, we believe in the power of stories and how we can be better by learning from those before us who have gone through similar experiences. Everyone has their own story to tell, and we're here to share those stories to let anyone going through a tough time know that they're not alone.

Among us there may be friends, loved ones or even strangers who are struggling with suicidal thoughts and suffering in silence. We can change this. We can have open conversations about this. The more we open up about it and talk about it, the more we can fight it together.. and the more we realise we aren’t alone in our battle in it.

You’re not alone, and the light will shine through one day ✨

It's good to set goals when we want to challenge ourselves. There is definitely a line however, between healthy expecations that push us, and unhealthy ones that pull us down more than they uplift us.

Here are some tips to get you started on dealing with overly high expectations. Whether its from family, friends, work, or just from yourself. It'll be alright 🤍

Hey there, we are Project: It'll Be Alright (IBA),a youth mental well-being project started by a group of youths with a common goal to promote mental well-being in Singapore and destigmatise mental health issues!

Over the past 2 years we have hosted 2 live panel discussions with different members of the community on topics such as life in school, career transition, and navigating the social media space safely.

We also launched our first e-book that featured over 40 heartfelt stories of youths who overcame their struggles, challenges, and loss. The launch was accompanied by an art exhibition in the National Museum of Singapore, to showcase our project through the artistic lens.

Follow us and stay tuned for our upcoming initiatives! Remember, you are not alone and it’ll be alright! 🤍

It's never easy to open up to others and show your vulnerabilities, but being able to vocalise your thought will help you to feel much better and draw strength from others as well! 🤍
