Hepatitis continues to affect millions - often silently and without diagnosis. In Southeast Asia, over 48 million people live with chronic Hepatitis B and C, with many unaware of their condition.

Originally joining us for a short stint, Fitrya went above and beyond, so much so that her internship was extended. And we couldnโ€™t have been happier to keep her on board.

From designing IG reels to curating heartfelt beneficiary stories, she brought fresh ideas and steady hands to our e-Fundraising & Partnerships team.

She tackled content creation, campaign data, and admin like a pro (even when creative blocks hit or last-minute requests came flying in)!

What helped her thrive?

Last Friday, as part of our own fundraising efforts for Grateful Hearts Day, we hosted the in-house ๐ŸŒŸ Thank Goodness Itโ€™s Fundraising (TGIF) bazaar ๐ŸŒŸ

In four hours, we raised more than S$2,500, crossing the $100,000 milestone, to support vulnerable individuals and families within our communities. We couldn't have done it without our colleagues and volunteers who made the bazaar a fun success. ๐Ÿ™Œ

Our senior beneficiaries from ElderAid programme spent an afternoon with us with a terrarium-making workshop, blissful cups of matcha lattes, and delicious pratas with chicken curry, while others hosted a coffee painting workshop, tarot card reading sessions and even our own beneficiary from Meals with Love sold cookies that came from the heart โค

Thank you RLA Foundation Singapore for mobilising $200,000 in donations to support our humanitarian efforts for the Myanmar and Thailand earthquake.

Our Assistant Secretary General for Operations Ms Charis Chan, and Associate Director of Global Engagement, Ms Rebekah Lim, received the donation from CEO Mr Adnan Abdul Hamid today, witnessed by Assoc Professor Faishal Ibrahim, Acting Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs and Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Home Affairs and RLAF Chairman Mr Abdul Razak Hassan Maricar, in the presence of members of the RLAF Board of Trustees.

โ€œThis campaign is a testament to the power of collaboration, compassion and shared responsibility,โ€ said A/P Faishal.

At MUIS Academy, Mr Sahari Ani, Dean of the Singapore Red Cross Academy delivered training on the โ€˜Fundamentals of Serving Humanityโ€™.

Thatโ€™s the incredible result of Project R.I.C.E.+, led by 27 youth leaders, supported by 600 volunteers, and championed by our amazing Red Cross Youth.

Together, they reached out to:
