🌍 Exciting Day at CIH🤝

We had the immense honor of welcoming the Novartis Foundation Board of Trustees to our center. 🙌 Norvatis strives to reimagine medicine to improve and extend people's lives. Their visit to CIH was aimed at exploring innovations and ideas that could improve global health in particular for low-income groups. 🏥💪

We engaged in discussions about deployment frameworks and strategies in the hospital as well as in community settings. It was inspiring to listen to various views about the future of healthcare delivery with an emphasis on preventitive medicine. 🚀 We also had the opportunity to share with them some interesting homegrown innovations at our showroom to explore potential synergies. 🌟

We would like to also extend our gratitude to Prof. Peter Piot, our NUHS PCI AB member, for fostering this collaboration.🤝

🌟 Post Event Highlights!🌟

Yesterday was a moment of pride for us at the Centre for Innovation in Healthcare -CIH as we had the honor of hosting a remarkable event. Our Head of Centre, Dr. Rina Lim had the privilege of participating as a judge at the 11th Strategic Leaders Programme (SLP) Innovation Pitch Session.

The event was organized by the Healthcare Leadership College (HLC), a division of Holdings Pte Ltd (Singapore) dedicated to strengthening and develop leadership capacities within Singapore's national healthcare system. 🏥💡

With an audience of approximately 25 participants, including Directors and Heads of Departments from various clusters, institutions, primary care, armed forces, and community/voluntary care sectors, the event truly showcased the diverse and dynamic landscape of healthcare in Singapore. 👥🌐

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all participants and express our gratitude to HLC for their commitment to advancing healthcare leadership and innovation. 🙌 Let's continue to collaborate and drive positive change in the healthcare sector together! 💪🌍

🎙️Exciting day at the 2nd Clinician Scientist Bootcamp organised by Clinician Scientist Academy (CSA). Our Centre Director, Prof Lawrence Ho and Head of Centre, Dr Rina Lim, had the honor of sharing insights with over 30 enthusiastic clinician-scientists. 🧑‍⚕️🔬

It began with Prof Lawrence sharing his personal insights and experiences as a clinician innovator and Dr Rina presented the NUHS Practice Changing Innovation (PCI) initiative, and encouraged the clinician scientists to look beyond mere discovery and application and to take innovation to the next level by scaling these brilliant ideas and solutions within the real-world ecosystem. 🌍💡
