A heartfelt thank-you to our volunteers whose thoughtful efforts brought the Mid-Autumn spirit to life for our residents at Orange Valley Simei. 🌕

Residents enjoyed a lively afternoon filled with colourful lanterns, playful banter, and familiar melodies such as 《甜蜜蜜》 and “Please Mr. Postman.” It was a wonderful opportunity to share joy, music, and togetherness.

We are deeply grateful to our volunteers for their time, effort, and genuine care in making this celebration meaningful for our residents.

🎉 Double Wins for Orange Valley AAC @ Woodlands Peak! 🏆

We are proud to share that our seniors from Orange Valley Active Ageing Centre @ Woodlands Peak achieved outstanding results at the Seniors National Games 2025 Finals held on 4 October 2025.

With 2nd place in Seated Floorball and 3rd place in Disc Golf, our seniors have set an inspiring example of how active ageing can be both empowering and rewarding.

Congratulations to our seniors for their remarkable achievement and for exemplifying the Orange Valley spirit of living actively and purposefully. 🧡

At Orange Valley, the safety of our residents and staff remains our utmost priority. Our team recently attended the Respond to Fire Emergency in Buildings course conducted by TECS Fire & Safety Training Pte Ltd.

The course enhanced our staff’s understanding of fire safety legislation, fire hazards, and the use of fire protection systems, while equipping them with essential skills in operating breathing apparatus, high-rise firefighting, rescue operations, and initial fire-fighting response.

By investing in continuous training, we ensure our team is well-prepared to respond effectively to emergencies, reinforcing our commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for all under our care.

Alongside thousands of participants, we joined this meaningful event to raise cancer awareness and support the crucial work of the Singapore Cancer Society. Moments like these highlight the power of community to drive positive change and stand together with those affected by cancer.

We are proud to announce that our seniors from Orange Valley Active Ageing Centre @ Woodlands Peak showcased exceptional talent and sportsmanship at the Seniors National Games 2025.

Our seniors took part in the heats for Disc Golf, Seated Floorball, Ladder Toss and Boccia, demonstrating inspiring teamwork, energy and determination as they work towards the finals.

🌟 Orange Valley at the AIConnector Learning Journey 2025! 🌟

Orange Valley Nursing Home was honoured to participate in the inaugural AIConnector Learning Journey organised by AIC at Sparkle Care Yew Tee. This event provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration among industry peers.

During the visit, our team observed the Sparkle Shop Initiative, where seniors showcased and sold their handcrafted products, and witnessed an impressive drone soccer demonstration by seniors at Sparkle Care AAC. These initiatives exemplify innovation in active ageing and community engagement.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Ms. Radha and her team for their excellent organisation of this meaningful session as well as Sparkle Care for hosting the event. It was also a pleasure to connect with representatives from various organisations and to share best practices in eldercare and community support.
