9 people in Singapore suffered serious skin reactions after taking medicines containing modafinil or armodafinil. Both drugs are unregistered in Singapore, though they can be obtained in some countries as prescription medicines for specific medical conditions such as narcolepsy.

The patients suffered from Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS), a life-threatening skin condition, and toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN), a more severe form of SJS. The conditions cause blistering rashes and severe peeling of the skin and mucous membranes.

These medicines should be taken only when prescribed by a doctor and with proper medical supervision.

It is with a heavy heart that I have to postpone the launch of Bipolar SG. The last few months have been a rollercoaster, with an admission into IMH, and being discharged while still being manic. My mental state hasn't hit rock bottom like this in a very long time. To all family and friends who've been there with me thru this roughest of patches, I owe it to you. With that said, I'm still working on launching the movement this year. It just gives me more time to work on it. I will not quit nor rest till this comes to life.
