You might ask, use oil as eye cream??

I got to admit, I generally have pretty good skin. But I do have challenges using typical creams. A number of creams have given me pimples. Some eye creams made my feel eyes puffy.

But this Moringa Rose Oil from Doterra is perfect especially around my eyes. Not too heavy, yet so hydrating. Just a drop around each eye does wonders.

I sometimes use it as face serum too, though I have another favourite for that. Next post!

Hey lookie! It’s baby hair!

After 3 kids, I felt pregnancy hair loss was a permanent thing. But since starting metapwr in Oct, I finally have some *sustained* hair growth 🤗

Took MetaPWR Assist before my rather carby lunch, as it’s supposed to help regulate and stabilise post meal blood glucose levels, reduce absorption of carbs and sugar and contribute to healthy fat metabolism.

TLDR: no more food coma. Lemme get my work done! 🤓

MetaPWR is finally coming to SG! Finally I don’t have to order this from US anymore!

The essential oil blend comes in a 15ml bottle, or in the form of softgels. I like to take it after meals as it promotes a healthy digestive system. If I’m at home, I’ll take 4 drops of oil in a veggie capsule (sometimes pairing with DigestZen if I’m too full), but the softgels are really convenient if I’m eating out. It’s about 2 drops of oil in each softgel.

You can get your from starting 6 May. It’s seriously ! DM if you’d like more info.

Simply add copaiba, Deep Blue and peppermint into a 10ml roller bottle and top up with FCO. You can also add oregano for a stronger effect.

If you are using on more sensitive skin (or with children/elderly), omit the oregano as this oil is rather “hot”. You can cut down on peppermint too.

During my recent travels, my family was out at the countryside when my son suddenly developed 39.7deg fever at 11pm. I didn’t bring ibuprofen thinking I could buy it easily. But shops were closed and so was the nearest doctor was an hour away. So I ended up rubbing his chest, back and neck with eucalyptus and peppermint (I forgot to bring FCO so I substituted with moisturiser). I also added on guard on his feet. Kept applying this every 15 min.

After an hour or so his fever came down to below 39 and we were all able to get some sleep that night. And we didn’t have to see the doctor!

So glad I brought essential oils for my trip!

(Note, I don’t believe oils cured him. It just helped to bring the fever down to a more reasonable level. In the end, it’s his body still has to fight the illness on his own.)

Featuring.. Digest Zen!
Let’s just say, I didn’t know I had tummy issues until I started using digest zen and then I realised I felt so much better 😂
My favourite way to use it is to take a few drops in a veggie capsule. The effects are fast and good!

Prepping for travel! Didn’t want to go too crazy, so I’m telling myself to keep to 10 bottles and some rollers. After some deliberation, here’s my travel pack (for now):

Breathe and eucalyptus - to tackle the family’s usual sinus issues
Balance and lavender - to give us restful nights
Peppermint - my whatever and everything oil, from headaches to insect bites to clearing blocked noses and freshening up the place
On Guard and purify - to freshen and sanitise the rooms and car we’re gonna be in
DigestZen - for the times when we overeat 🫣
Terrashield - for the potential hikes and outdoorsy stuff
Lemon - to clean just about anything, including our fruits

Not forgetting my small rollers:
Tea tree - for the bruises and scrapes.
InTune - for when I need to focus on the road
Past Tense - for those headaches
Deep blue (plus rub) - for the aches I’ll get from long drives and bad beds
Adaptiv - for when the kids drive me crazy and I need to calm down

I’m still fickle about some of them. Or maybe I’ll try and squeeze one or two more into the pouch 🤭

It’s the season for giving… oils! I love making blends. Seems like a lot of essential oils are repeated on the page, but different combinations present a different fragrance and effect.

For a 10ml roller bottle, just add a total of about 12-15 drops of the stated oils and top up the bottle with fractionated coconut oil. If you’re using a 5ml bottle, just halve the amount of oils.

Try it yourself - or DM me if you need some help!

I started using essential oils in my hair care when I had a really bad hairfall problem. I have oily scalp but very dry, damaged hair. I used to have many bottles of shampoo in my shower because I was trying a different one every day just to tackle the issues. But when I used a shampoo for oily scalp, my hair would frizz even further (even with conditioner only at the ends). When I use a shampoo for dry hair, my scalp would get oily and hair would drop.

Now my shower situation has changed: just 1 bottle of shampoo, but I bring in a different bottle of essential oil each day depending on what my hair needs for that day! This post has my top 4 favourites! They make the shower smell soooo good too!

You can choose to add these oils directly into your shampoo bottles, but I personally prefer changing them up every day. Just put your usual shampoo onto your palm and add 1-2 drops of your preferred oil onto the shampoo. Massage it into your hair and scalp. It feels and smells so good!
