**Announcement: Closure of Divinity Special Education Pte Ltd and Licensing Opportunity**

Dear Special Needs Community,

We regret to inform you that the Divinity Special Education School will be officially closing its doors effective immediately.

This decision was made after careful consideration of various challenges faced by the institution mainly the stringent rules and cost in hiring qualified and passionate Special Education Teachers.

In light of this closure, we are actively seeking interested parties for the takeover of licensing, infrastructure, low rental premises and high quality educational and therapy resources associated with special education and early childhood education.

This is an opportunity for organizations or individuals who are passionate about continuing the legacy of the Divinity Special Education and are capable of fostering its mission.

Yesterday, we celebrated not just the completion of a school year, but the incredible journey of growth, learning, and perseverance that each student has undertaken to reach this moment.

For each student, this day holds a special significance not just for themselves but their teachers, families and friends. It’s the result of countless hours of overcoming challenges, pushing through moments of doubt and cheers over small milestones.

So, let’s take a moment to congratulate each and every one of them. We are so proud of everything you’ve accomplished.

Divinity Sports Day 2024 was different because all our outdoor space and void deck space is taken up the authorities for Home Improvment program. As such we needed to “think out of the box” on how to continue with our Yearly Sport Day, a day that our students look forward to.
So all games were held indoors in the form of eye & hand coordination, balance & control and focus & attention. It was a relaxed sports day with minimum assistance and modified according to disorder.
Lunch was a variety of Pizzas and for snack it was a piece of cake fed by Teachers as after all this was Children’s Day.
Every child headed home with a bag of things ranging from stationary to art & craft and even a personalised keychain - handmade by our Admin Fari.

With our void decks and outdoor space taken up for Home Improvement project, we decided to think ‘out of the box’ to give the students their due sports day. All games were held indoors and designs to test their hand and eye/hand control and balance and focus and attention. It was great day of fun indoors.

This year we celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival. Although, many of our children are non-celebrants, we celebrated this year because we had a generous gift of mooncakes from parents (Shangri-La & Conrad Hotel) and from an AIA friend (The Ritz-Carlton Hotel). Thank you all.

To further embrace the celebration, all children engaged in making a lantern (deco), using ang bao (red packets).
