文中说明人一旦没有了生命，饥饿与寒冷其实是不存在的，但是因为逝者依然有着执念与妄想，所以我们需要为逝者供奉饮食、烧金银衣纸以满足其执念。所以烧纸这习俗流传了有千年之久固有其道理和意义，所以还是宁可信其有，为表孝意，为求心安。
