-The first few weeks are vital (And so are the following months, years.... it's neverending) ๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ
- You will be exhausted (For the rest of your life) ๐Ÿ˜ด
- Your hormones will be all over the place (If they were not already) ๐Ÿคช

- You will need help (Even though you are a superwoman) ๐Ÿค—
- Breastfeeding will be a learning curve (The kiddo will get fed irrespective) ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘ถ

๐Ÿคฐ๐Ÿด๐Ÿ˜‹ Are you pregnant and struggling with cravings? Many pregnant women experience cravings for certain foods, but the question is - is it okay to give in? Let's explore the answer together.

๐Ÿคฐ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ’“ Several classical Ayurvedic texts describe the desires of a pregnant woman, known as a dauhrdini, or "two-hearted" due to possessing two hearts. The fetus develops the free flow of consciousness around the fourth month, and desires can be transmitted from the mother's heart. Ayurveda advises fulfilling these desires for a healthy baby.

๐Ÿด๐Ÿ‘€ Although the exact cause of cravings during pregnancy is unknown, hormonal changes are believed to be a factor. Some experts suggest that cravings may indicate a need for specific nutrients. For example, frequent cravings for salty foods may suggest a need for more sodium or other minerals.

๐Ÿ’ช๐ŸŽ It's important to listen to your body and try to satisfy cravings with healthier options when possible. Incorporating a variety of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and healthy grains into your diet can help ensure it remains well-balanced during pregnancy.

๐Ÿ“ Remember:

-Fulfilling pregnancy cravings is recommended in Ayurveda.
-Hormonal changes during pregnancy may cause cravings.
-Cravings may indicate a need for specific nutrients.
-Try healthier alternatives to junk food.
-Ensure a well-balanced diet during pregnancy.
-Consult with your doctor if you have concerns.
