Hip flexors = underrated but essential for triathletes.
All 3 disciplines put a lot of stress on them → if they’re tight or weak, it’s only a matter of time before something starts to hurt.
Yesterday I had the pleasure of running a workshop for the Metasport crew (aka the Metamates) focused on one thing many athletes overlook… taking care of their hip flexors.
✔️ Understanding their role (lift the knee, hinge at the waist, stabilise pelvis & lower back)
✔️ Moving better with simple dynamic warm-ups
✔️ Improving mobility with targeted stretches
✔️ Building strength to support performance
