Discover the gentle art of painting bread in this calming watercolour workshop designed for beginners and art lovers alike. In this unique session, you’ll explore how to capture the warmth, texture, and character of everyday baked goods—from glossy pillowy red bean buns to crumbly golden yellow butter cookies—using delicate washes and expressive brushwork.
Throughout the session, you’ll discover how to build rich, vibrant colours using watercolour glazes, bringing warmth and depth to your baked subjects. You’ll practice both wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques to create soft blends and defined details, while also learning how to control the amount of water on your brush for better precision and effects.
Guided step by step, you’ll learn essential watercolour techniques such as layering, color blending, and creating realistic textures. We’ll also explore how to lift out colour to create highlights, refine textures, and add dimension—essential skills for capturing the softness of a bun and the crisp edges of cookies. Whether you’re new to painting or looking to unwind creatively, this workshop offers a relaxing space to slow down and enjoy the process.
All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with your own finished bread-inspired artwork—perfectly imperfect and uniquely yours.

The meowdels are ready for their close-up! 🐾 Back by popular demand, our most-loved workshop is returning just in time for Mother’s Day. There is something so restorative about the stroke of a brush and the purr of a cat. Come catch your breath, find those glimmers of joy, and celebrate the bond of motherhood with a little art and a lot of whiskers. 🌸✨The best part? This might be the perfect chance to “accidentally” convince your mother to welcome a cat (or two!) as the newest members of the family. A little paint, a little purring... she won’t be able to say no! 🐈‍⬛✨

Adult Art Club: Because being a “working adult” is exhausting. Or simply, life is exhausting.
We fell in love with shrink plastic, so we’re bringing it to the club for a night of pure play. There’s something uniquely therapeutic about watching the plastic curl up and then flatten out—it’s basically a metaphor for a stressful work week.
Come for the peace of mind and stay for the cat snuggles (pending feline approval, of course). This is a low-pressure zone: no requirement to socialize or share your work. Just a collective of people making art in the same space. Just come as you are, all material provided. Link in bio!

The meows making sure their presence are known to mamas in the new studio layout; they graced the space, anointed the space with their playful energy and being very involved in their ‘work’ either on the desk or the chair. And mamas can’t be annoyed by their presence.

Join us for a fun, relaxing, and completely non-judgemental illustration workshop celebrating the charm, chaos, and personality of chickens 🐔
This session is all about loosening up, having a laugh, and creating lively, humorous chicken illustrations full of character.
We’ll explore both wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry painting techniques to create feathers, learning how each approach can add movement, texture, and expression to your chickens. Whether your birds turn out elegant, grumpy, wonky, or downright ridiculous, they’ll be uniquely yours—and that’s the goal.
This workshop is suitable for all experience levels. There’s no pressure to be “perfect,” just encouragement to experiment, play, and enjoy the process in a supportive and welcoming space.
By the end of the session, you’ll head home with at least one (and likely more!) finished chicken creations to be proud of.
You’re also very welcome to bring along your own reference photos if you have favorite chickens you’d like to work from.
Expect paint, feathers, laughter, and a flock of expressive chickens by the end of the day.

Explore the joy of illustrating cats while learning the dry brush technique! You could bring your own cat photo(s) or choose from the references we’ve put together.

We’ll start with simple, guided exercises to help you loosen up by playing with brush strokes, pressure, and basic cat shapes. From there, we’ll add fur textures, gestures, and lively lines, guiding you toward your very own complete cat illustrations.

Working in black ink first keeps things simple and fun: it lets you focus on line, form, and movement while the natural flow of ink brings your drawings to life. Once you feel confident, you can make it your own—whether bold and graphic, soft and subtle, or even enhanced with watercolour washes for extra depth and colour.

This workshop is open to everyone, from beginners curious about ink to seasoned artists looking to experiment and loosen up. By the end, you’ll leave with a collection of playful cat sketches and at least one finished piece to proudly take home.
