OUR BRAND STORY

When the COVID-19 pandemic took the world by surprise in 2020, it resulted in an unprecedented global shortage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). SURGISYL 3-ply surgical masks were initially conceived to meet the demand for high-quality masks in our own medical and dental clinics in Singapore.

However, with social distancing and mask-wearing outside one’s home becoming prevalent in many countries, the need increased to produce surgical masks, not just for our own clinics, but also for the global community for daily use and protection.

More recently in Singapore, the Government took additional steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19 during the circuit breaker period by making it mandatory for all persons to wear face masks in public. To address this need and also the needs of medical professionals requiring masks, the SURGISYL surgical mask line was crafted.

Singapore prides itself on its quality assurance standards and is known internationally for its world-class and reputable manufacturing infrastructure. SURGISYL – a Singaporean brand aims to provide surgical masks which are quality-assured, affordable and accessible to everyone. Our surgical masks are designed and tested to ensure that they will meet the needs of the community in Singapore and globally.
