Go Forth Transport Service for Wheelchair Users

Dear Go Forth clients and friends.
I didn't mention earlier about my plan to exit from wheelchair transport service. The day has come. I have sold my van, and last day of service is on 16th Nov 2023.

It has been much prayer and also amazingly God's timing for such decision, how it all came to its place.

Thank you, thank you to all your kind support, encouragement and prayers. My hope is to be able to cross path again.

It has been a good 6 years plus since I started this biz. I will be taking a sabbatical (travel a bit), to seek the LORD before deciding the next thing to embark on.

Wishing you all, strength and hope in the Lord Jesus. Amen.

A fellow wheelchair transporter captured this photo of us on the road today. We were on the way to fetch our regular client for his dialysis session. Rain or shine, public holiday or not, we take pride in meeting the transportation needs of our clients through safe, reliable and on-schedule rides.

"As my mother have dementia, she may struggle during transfer and may likely get injured but is unable to express it. To see my mum comfortably snugged in her wheelchair without transferring her out of it, gives us the confident to bring her out."

Our van’s hydraulic lift system ensures our client’s safety as passenger remain seated on their wheelchair while getting into the van. With a more straightforward approach, getting to your destination is easier and more convenient for caregivers and persons on wheelchair. In addition, wheelchairs are always safely secured before moving off.

In our 4 year of running Go Forth, we see many clients suffering from dementia. Dementia is a condition that not only robs one’s health, but also impacts their caregivers. Some caregivers may feel lost and daunted by the new responsibilities.

The first step caregivers can take is to get equipped with a good knowledge of how this condition can be managed. This alleviates fear of the unknown and reduces stress levels.
Caregivers should have a supportive circle of friends and family they can turn to for help, to share information and take care of the dementia patient if the caregiver needs a break.
