Today at KidsFirst, our children had a meaningful and joyful head start to celebrating Hari Raya Haji through a series of engaging in-class activities. 🌙✨

Through sheep crafts, mosque shadow crafts, interactive games, and our “Kindness Sheep” activity, the children explored the values behind Hari Raya Haji — kindness, compassion, gratitude, and caring for others. It was heartwarming to see them learning about different cultures while having so much fun together. 🐑🕌💛

These experiences help our little learners grow in understanding, empathy, and appreciation for the traditions celebrated by friends and families around them.

Thank you to Sarah from the Pathological Demand Avoidance Society for delivering valuable CPD training on awareness of PDA. The session explored how PDA can present differently across children, understanding individual profiles, and practical strategies to support engagement in activities and learning.

The training also included collaborative discussions, reflective practice, and case studies which provided staff with opportunities to deepen our understanding, share experiences, and explore supportive, child-centred approaches within everyday practice.
