Reflexology relieves stress, improves circulation, and enhances bodily functions, while Hatha Yoga promotes flexibility, strength, and mental clarity. My name is Alyona (Elena) Dyer, and I am deeply passionate about guiding individuals towards holistic well-being as both a Hatha Yoga Teacher and a Clinical Reflexology Therapist. To me, yoga and reflexology are more than just ancient practices; they are the ways of bringing people and cultures together through creating a supportive environment in which students can learn the importance of listening to, understanding and healing their own bodies. In my almost 50 years of life, I've been fortunate to explore various corners of the world, from my birthplace in Moscow, Russia, to the Middle East, Europe, Australia and now Singapore. Alongside my life partner and our two wonderful children, we find joy in activities such as, mountain biking, motorcycling, water sports, skiing and yoga. After graduating from the University with a management degree, as many other young students I found my way into the corporate office world. Eventually building up my career and until 2011 I worked as an HR Manager for one of the global oil & gas companies. My journey into the world of holistic healing began in 1998 when I turned to yoga to alleviate back and neck pains. Starting with dynamic Ashtanga Yoga, I transitioned to Hatha Yoga after a skiing accident in 2004. Hatha Yoga not only helped me recover physically but also brought balance and positivity into my life, especially during and after both pregnancies. In 2018, after years of personal practice and growth, I became a qualified Hatha Yoga Teacher through the British School of Yoga. Inspired by the positive transformations I witnessed; I further expanded my expertise by qualifying as a Clinical Reflexology Therapist with the Perth School of Reflexology. Additionally, I attained my ITEC Diploma Degree with Distinction through ASRR, further enhancing my expertise in holistic healing practices. I also embarked on teaching aspiring complementary therapists Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathology through ASRR ITEC, enriching my commitment to advancing the field. Clinical Reflexology, a non-invasive form of treatment, complements the holistic approach of yoga by relieving stress and tension, promoting better circulation, and enhancing overall well-being. Often, I integrate self-help reflexology techniques into my yoga classes to provide a comprehensive wellness experience for my students. By combining the ancient practices of Reflexology and Hatha yoga, I strive to empower individuals to achieve balance, harmony, and vitality in their lives. It brings me immense joy to witness the transformative impact these practices have on the lives of others, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share their benefits with the world.
