The pyramid of Menkaure was an intriguing and physically challenging experience. To get to the tomb I had to crouch and walk down what was essentially a 60 degree slide with bars to arrest your fall pretending to be steps, in a fast moving crowd with limited air. The only access was actually a shaft for the delivery of boxes.

It really challenged my ability to stay centered and calm. In fact the anxiety of keeping up with the flow of the crowd and the size of the shaft (about 2/3rds of a meter) resulted in my heart rate going up, more than the moderate physical exertion. I started wondering - how will I keep my grounding when I see clients for therapy if I feel physically challenged?

A kind stranger reminded me to be “tranquilo” and even stopped from time to time to help me measure my breathing with slow gestures. So I guess my answer was “the kindness of strangers” and grace. The good watches over us.

It's my birthday month, and I've been taking it easy - enjoying some great life milestones. In gratitude I would like to offer 3 free healing sessions. For my birthday I started the day with a gift to myself - an exam! I’ve left my Bodytalk Practitioner training incomplete for so many years and I finally faced it and prevailed! Passed my practical and theory exam thanks in no small part to the generous and heartful mentorship of ! Perfect gift to myself - growth and completion!

20+ years ago i learnt to give reiki attunements. And in all that time I have given one to a friend and it was last month.

This year I am recognising it is time to learn the fundamentals anew and go back to my roots

Learning Usui Shiki Ryoho as taught from the Japanese lineage of Reiki was deepening and brought back the spiritual foundations of Reiki back to me. The reiju or attunement was like fire and light all at once. Much gratitude to Eric for helping me feel like I have come back home.

Back to chopping wood and polishing my skills daily.

Pleased to announce my next collaboration with .sg - I will be teaching Light Language 1 by Starr Fuentes, where we will deep dive into the power of both Color and Sacred Geometry.

Color (specifically colored light) for me is energy, fuel, force. In this class students will deepen their relationship to color and understand how it expresses the underlying motivating essence of every creation. Especially powerful for those of us who already work with color in healing.

Sacred geometry are powerful shapes that hold specific highly spiritual structures - they give form, function, and plan to color. Especially useful for those who already explore the effects of sacred shapes on our lives.

Together, the form a language which gives ultimate clarity to our intentions and speaks to the universe in a way that cannot be ignored. Light Language is the most fundamental magic. I look forward to sharing this with everyone.
