✨ A huge congratulations to our SAHT President, Kris Tong, who presented on Pain Management in Hand Therapy at the prestigious APFSSH–APFSHT–APWA–ISSH–SHTI Congress held in Mumbai, India 🇮🇳 (10–13 Sept 2025).

Kris continues to be a driving force in advancing the field of hand therapy shaping clinical practice, mentoring future therapists, and advocating for evidence-based care across Asia and beyond. Her dedication to improving patient outcomes and raising professional standards is nothing short of inspiring. 🖐️💡

We couldn’t have been more proud to see her share her expertise on an international stage.

📢 Looking ahead, we’re excited to welcome the world to Singapore for the IFSSH–IFSHT 2028 Congress. More opportunities to learn, grow, and lead in hand therapy are on the horizon!

💡 Exploring Innovation in Rehab 💡

We had an insightful afternoon diving into INDIBA® Radiofrequency Technology, with a focus on its clinical applications for upper limb conditions including Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, post-operative rehab, and more. 🙌

From live demonstrations with real cases to a hands-on practical session, it was a valuable opportunity to sharpen clinical skills and explore how this technology can support recovery, better function, and improved quality of life for our patients. 🖐️⚙️

We hope everyone who attended walked away with practical tools and new perspectives to bring back to their respective settings because better care starts with continuous learning.

What a fantastic turnout and an incredible learning experience at the Luna Cast Workshop!🙌✨

Highlights included hands-on fabrication of various splints: static designs for fingers, dynamic spring wrist cock-up splints, anti-claw hand splints, and the spider splint. Plus, we had the rare privilege of an exclusive panel discussion on applying these techniques across different clinical settings in Singapore.

A huge thank you to the esteemed Mr. Kent Jui-Kun Chang, Chief Occupational Therapist at the Rehabilitation Department of Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan, and Adjunct Lecturer at Kaohsiung Medical University. His expertise in hand therapy, burns management, orthoses, assistive technology, work rehabilitation, and OT administration made this session truly invaluable.

We look forward to many more enriching workshops like this! 💡🤝

What an insightful time at ! Undoubtedly it was a fantastic opportunity to learn from each other’s experiences, explore different practices, and stay updated with the latest evidence in hand therapy. From thought-provoking discussions to hands-on workshops, this summit truly brought together passionate professionals from all the world 🌎💡

Beyond the knowledge gained, the best part was connecting with like-minded individuals who share the same goal and refining our clinical skills to enhance patient outcomes. 🙌🏼💙
