Our Funeral Directors and staff will ensure that they listen to and understand the need of its families, and we aim to serve with dignity, sympathy and compassion during these troubled times and are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for guidance. We listen to the family and put their wishes into practice and guide them. We endeavor to give the individual attention to our clients that can only be given by a family run firm where you are being cared for our Funeral Directors and team. We can offer a funeral service that is very traditional but we can also use our knowledge to offer some modern concepts within the funeral service. As we enter the twenty first century some of the valued levels of service and tradition change, we, as a company, wish to maintain our service at a cost that is acceptable and reasonable, yet we don’t compromise the service value to our clients. Always comforting because we care.

Hi everyone,

I’m Elson. I started Serenity with just $500 from my NS allowance, and a speaker given to me by my father. That was all we had at the beginning, but to me it was enough to start. It was just a simple belief to serve the community and that every funerals deserves care and respect. What began as a small idea that has grown into something far greater than I could have achieved alone.

This journey has never been easy. There were long days, difficult decisions and moments of doubt. But what carried Serenity forward was not just my vision it was people supporting me behind my back.

To my team: Thank you.
Your commitment, resilience and dedication are the reason Serenity Casket & Funerals stands where it is today. I would not be standing here without you. Each of you plays a part in upholding the values we believe in, and in caring for families during some of their most difficult times. Thank you for trusting the journey, for growing with the company and for showing up every day with heart and care.

A special thank you to my wife, Sarah Ang, for her support, patience and belief in me.

As we continue forward, I am deeply grateful to have all of you beside me. To the families who entrusted us during their most difficult moments, thank you for allowing us to serve you.

Becoming a Family Care Assistant was not part of CK’s original path. But when the opportunity came, he recognised the meaning in this work and chose to step forward. He understands that there are no second takes, every funeral happens just once in a lifetime. That shapes his approach to every farewell and sharpens his attention to the little things families remember.
