Our treatment philosophy is geared towards movement analysis and correction to address the root cause of the injury and prevent its re-occurence.

We are dedicated to providing client-centred physiotherapy to improve mobility, physical activity and overall health and well-being. We take a multi-disciplinary approach towards the management of our clients’ well-being. This is why we have co-located a fully functioning gym within our clinic so that we can better diagnose and assess our clients’ physical condition. As with members of our profession, we are bound by ethical principles to act with integrity, accountability and judgment in the best interest of the client so that they can be rehabilitated and achieve optimal health outcomes to live life to the fullest. Movement Mechanics also works with fitness coaches to help facilitate the recovery process of their athletes and sportsmen to help them achieve optimal performance. Our physiotherapy services include:
Musculoskeletal disorders (e.g. frozen shoulder, rotator tendinopathy)
Post-operative orthopaedic rehabilitation (e.g. knee/hip replacement, anterior cruciate ligament/meniscal repair, spinal surgery)
Sports injury rehabilitation
Sports taping
Sports massage
Injury screening and prevention
Chronic pain management
Exercise-based rehabilitation for people with cardiac disorder and cardiovascular risk factors (e.g. hypertension, dyslipidaemia) (to remove)
Home visits for those unable to come to the clinic for treatment
Workshops and talks
Sports and games on-site physiotherapy support

We are also well qualified to provide physiological and biomechanical services. This is the understanding of cellular response and mechanical laws related to human movement. The merging between internal effects of exercise and external structure of living organism sets the stage for personalised training programs that prepare athletes for the physical demands of specific activities. We take a holistic approach when it comes to injury prevention and enhancing sports performance. Our methods are science based and backed by scientific evidence, through rigorous research and scientific studies. Our physiological and biomechanical services include:

Today marks World Physiotherapy Day and the theme for this year is lower back pain (LBP).

Spinal discs degenerate due to ageing, and not all of them have any symptoms. i.e. you may have an abnormal disc imaging, but you may not be experiencing any pain.

The best rehabilitation for LBP is exercise, rather than total bed rest.

At MMPhysio, we have experience in treating clients with lower back pain, by using dry needling, correcting movement patterns and promoting exercise as rehab.

We strive to continue to bring our best treatment for everyone that comes through our door.

Congratulations to and on completing the Cairn's Ironman in mid June.

For those who aren't familiar, it consists of a 3.8km swim, 180km bike and 42km run.

Super proud of these guys! 💪🏼🦾🥳
Their consistent training months prior, mental hardiness and racing with injury was no mean feat.
