Our hope for this year is that we (fellow human beings) will slow down, live more conscientiously, appreciate our many blessings, pay attention to what is truly important, be far less distracted by the noise and the many unimportant things, and learn to live with greater love, kindness and compassion towards ourselves, one another, all creatures great and small, and the Earth.

Stripped away all the names and identities we have clothed ourselves with, we are interconnected at the core with one another and with Mother Earth. The day we internalise this fact is the day massive changes can be seen.

Week 3: Empower Climate Action
Congratulations - You made it to the third and final week of the campaign! Let’s now take climate action!
Action 1: The Changing Climate
Time for some fresh air! Go outside for 5 minutes. What is the weather like today? Take your time and engage each of your senses one by one - what do you see, feel, hear, smell? What is one thing you are thankful for this weather?
Is this typical weather for your area at this time of year? Come back inside and ask your parents or a teacher if they have noticed a change in weather in your country the past 10 years.

Today, let's gain awareness of how retail consumerism is affecting the well-being of our collective home - Earth.
Our partner and youths around the world are using our app to help them stay accountable. How about you?
Week 2 Action 6: Why do I need it?
Sit quietly and reflect on the things you have bought the past two months. Any new clothes, electronic gadgets, decorations for your room, makeup? Why did you buy these? How long will they last?
Call your grandparents or a family friend over 70. Ask them what and how many things they bought when they were your age. Why do you think we are buying more things and producing more waste today?
We all need to carefully consider our consumption needs and habits to promote a circular rather than a linear, “buy-and-throw-away” culture. Learn the basics about Circular Economy here.
Share your commitment to reducing consumption on FB/Instagram with the hashtags and .

Now.Here. is the brainchild of Mr. Randolph Oudemans (Also known as Mr. NowHere) and we are committed to help people be happy, flourish and contribute to a better world.
During his years as a humanitarian, Randolph has witnessed the many hardships faced by the people he served and was struck by a severe sense of abandonment, fear and lack of positive self-esteem and self-compassion. This motivated him to set an intention to “do something positive to make a difference and to help.” As such, Randolph founded Now.Here. to help people live fuller, more meaningful lives.
We are a social enterprise that offers training, coaching and mentorship in the development and practice of the life skills of compassion.
