We are happy to introduce our Social Group Program, specially designed for children with special needs who benefit from guided support in developing social and life skills in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.

Our sessions combine therapy-based strategies with fun and meaningful activities, helping children practice real-life social situations while learning alongside peers.

🌟 A Small Step for Him, A Giant Leap for His Future 🌟
Today, our hearts are full.
One of our students has been accepted into a mainstream school in Singapore—and we couldn’t be prouder of his journey. 💛
When he first came to Special Learners, he struggled to sit, listen, and stay calm in a learning environment. Transitions were difficult. Group activities felt overwhelming. Many days began with tears.
But slowly, gently, and consistently, something beautiful happened.
He learned to feel safe.
He learned to trust.
He learned to listen, participate, and connect with others.
Today, he walks into our center with a smile.
He joins group activities with confidence.
He is ready for a new chapter in a mainstream classroom.

This is what school readiness truly means—not just academic skills, but emotional security, social confidence, and the belief that “I can do it.”

One of our proudest moments came as a surprise gift this Teachers’ Day — one of our students has just been officially discharged by their Developmental Pediatrician at Singapore NUH. 🎉👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

Our Special Story

We are Husband & Wife working as Occupational Therapists in the field of pediatrics and have been in practice for 20 years. When we had our 2nd son, Mars, we are so excited of his future and as a professional we noticed that he has a delay with his motor movement and speech.

He wasn’t crawling properly and was not pointing and communicating, we waited and don’t want to jump into conclusions and hoping it might go away (we were at the stage of denial) but it became apparent when he turned two years old. The future of him going to school dawned on us. We got worried of him not being able to cope up in life.

From there we decided to open Special Learners to enrol him in and teach him ourselves, the word spread out in the community and we got other children to join in as well.

Through our professional and parent approach we created a programme that focuses on the child’s way of being. We are committed to spirited learning, growth, development, fun and love. We empower our students with special needs to ask insightful questions either through verbal or gestures, explore disciplinary boundaries, and confront conventional ways of thinking.
