A wonderful close to a creative season! 🎨 The Red Pencil (Singapore) is filled with gratitude after successfully concluding two meaningful art therapy series with our fantastic partners.

In collaboration with Beyond The Label, we were proud to present "Art Therapy Workshop For Self-Care" as part of Beyond The Label Fest 2025. Thank you to everyone who joined us at Plaza Singapura to explore emotional balance through creativity.

We also had the joy of partnering with Marina Central for Singapore Design Week 2025. Our "I Am Wonderfully Made" parent-child workshop and "The Magical Touch" session for professionals at Millenia Walk were beautiful opportunities to create spaces for reconnection and care.

These collaborations are a testament to the power of art therapy in the community. We look forward to partnering with more social service and corporate organisations to bring therapeutic art programmes to your communities.

A heartfelt thank you to all our regular volunteers who joined us at The Red Pencil (Singapore)'s invite-only Volunteers Appreciation Night on Wednesday at Café One O (10 Square)! ✨

It was a lovely midweek evening filled with amazing food, great conversation and meaningful connections. 🍽️ The night was our small way of expressing immense gratitude for your unwavering dedication. Whether you've been assisting our Programmes team with preparing art materials , supporting Marcomms with outreach, or helping the Corporate Partnerships team with our Charity Golf event— your contributions make all the difference.

After dinner, we enjoyed an interactive response art activity and heartfelt sharing sessions from both our staff and volunteers, reminding us of the strong community we've built together. 💖

We are inspired by our volunteers' passion and look forward to seeing them in the months ahead and throughout 2026! 🤝

The Red Pencil (Singapore) is organising a FREE Seniors Outreach at Bishan Junction 8 for those aged 50 & above. Through simple, fun & interactive art therapy activities, seniors can experience how art supports memory, lifts emotional wellbeing, and eases daily stresses. They will also bring home small handmade art pieces — something for them to cherish and remember. 💕

As we look back at our inaugural edition of The Red Pencil (Singapore) Caring Touch Charity Golf 2025, we want to use this space to commemorate a few parties without whom the event would absolutely not have been possible:

🌿 To the staff at Laguna, Caring Touch Golf, our dedicated golfers, and tireless volunteers — thank you for your utmost commitment and energy that made the day just fly past seamlessly.

🌿 To our sponsors who supported everything from tournament prizes to refreshments — your generosity and giving spirit kept everyone inspired and cared for.

When Adeline lost her husband, the world grew quiet; the colours of her life fading with his absence. Caregiving had consumed years of her life, and when COVID hit, she felt all the more isolated and her creative spark seemed lost forever.

Through art therapy at The Red Pencil (Singapore), she rediscovered herself. Guided by peers who understood what she was going through, and with brush in hand, she transformed her pain into expression. In painting her past, present, and hopeful future, each stroke reminded her that even in grief, beauty can return.

Our Journey On workshop offers a safe, gentle introduction to this process. In two hours, you’ll learn how art therapy can support your grief journey — and if it resonates, you’ll be invited to join our full eight-session programme.

Fore a great cause! ⛳

The Red Pencil (Singapore) Caring Touch Charity Golf 2025 teed off last Wednesday at Laguna National Resort, starting with a wonderful lunch buffet alongside the amazing nurses and residents from LKHSC and Bishan Home for the Intellectually Disabled. Hosted by the absolutely charming Happy Fei Fei and supported by our wonderful volunteers and staff from the Zilliant team, it was such a privilege to see such bright smiles on the faces of everyone present as our golfers distributed goodie bags to the beneficiaries at the end of the meal.

More than just a simple tournament, our golfers truly made it a celebration of community, compassion, and the transformative power of coming together. Watching connections form over shared meals and laughter reminded us that this is what our mission and the goal of art therapy is all about.
