Introducing Dr Tang Chien Her, our Paediatrician at Kids’ Clinic.
Dr Tang Chien Her is a Ministry of Health–accredited Paediatrician specialising in general paediatrics, with a special interest in newborn and child health. He began his medical career in 1999 and has served in the Department of Paediatrics at both the National University Hospital (NUH) and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. With more than 20 years of clinical experience, Dr Tang is committed to providing evidence-based and compassionate care for infants and children.
Beyond clinical work, Dr Tang has extensive experience in healthcare administration and has led organisations through business, clinical, and operational capability development.
Dr Tang has previously held management roles in MOH Holdings Pte Ltd, the Ministry of Health Singapore, and ST Logistics Pte Ltd. He also completed his national service with the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF), 1 Medical Squadron, holding the rank of Lieutenant Colonel (LTC).
As a father of five, Dr Tang understands the joys, worries, and challenges of parenting. He values building strong and trusting relationships with families and believes that good paediatric care goes beyond medical treatment, including listening, reassurance, and partnership with parents.
