Here’s what protein actually does for your body 👇

💪 Builds Muscle
Your muscles are made of protein. So if you’re working out (even just a little), you need protein to help your muscles grow and recover stronger. No protein = no gains. Simple.

🛡️ Preserves Muscle
Trying to lose weight? Don’t lose your hard-earned muscle along with the fat. Protein helps protect your lean muscle while you’re in a calorie deficit. That’s how you get that toned look.

🦴 Supports Bone Health
Surprise: protein isn’t just for muscles. Studies show it helps keep your bones strong too — which means less risk of injury as you get older (or when you try new workout moves 😅).

Myth: “Carbs Make You Gain Weight”

Carbs get a bad rap, especially with low-carb trends like keto. But here’s the truth: carbs are our body’s main energy source and don’t directly cause weight gain—excess calories do!

Simple vs. Complex Carbs

Simple Carbs (sweets, soda) cause blood sugar spikes and crashes, leaving us hungry.
Complex Carbs (oats, brown rice, veggies) digest slowly, giving us steady energy and keeping us full.

Practical Tips to Enjoy Carbs:

Go for Whole Grains – Brown rice, quinoa, oats, and whole-wheat bread are high in fiber and keep us full.
Portion Control – Balance meals with protein, carbs, and healthy fats.
Pre-Workout Fuel – Carbs fuel our workouts! Try a banana with peanut butter.
Bottom Line: Carbs don’t have to be the enemy! Enjoy them wisely to keep our energy up and our cravings in check. 🍞🍚🍌
