Jeanette Chan
MA (Art Therapy), AThR, BBBA, Dip (CounsPsych)

Jeanette completed her Masters of Arts Art Therapy program with Open University – LASALLE College of Arts. Jeanette works mostly with children and young adults, in both educational settings and intervention programs. She has also published an article on Art Therapy in the Singapore Art Gallery Guide. Besides her practice as an art therapist, Jeanette also conducts educational programs in schools to introduce art as a therapeutic way to manage stress and nurture creativity amongst the students.

I took the photograph in 2013. It has been my fav shot as it captured the idyllic innocence of the carousel amidst the iconic landmark. I'm thankful that my friends in Paris are marked 'Safe'. I wonder if there'll be anywhere safe for children in our generation and for generations to come?
