ONE WEEK LEFT! Help us maximise Tote Board’s matching to provide consistent and continuous care for our clients.
Thank you SO MUCH for showing up last week! We raised $10,000 just from crowdfunding in one week, and we need your help to raise another $12,000.
$12,000 doubled means securing 6 months of rental and utilities, allowing us to focus on providing accessible, quality and essential mental health services for our clients. All donations are 250% tax deductible.
Thank you 💚

As a non-profit, our services and operations are sustained through public donations and dollar matching by the Tote Board. After 31st March this year, the matching will be reduced, which means the best time to donate is THIS MONTH!
Help us meet our shortfall by donating generously at tinyurl.com/TGH2025 (also linked in bio)
Your donations will help us keep essential, trauma-informed mental health programs accessible for our clients on their recovery journeys. All donations are 250% tax deductible.
Thank you for your support 💚

Does anyone even use physical pamphlets anymore?! If you bring one home now, you might encounter our pamphlet again months later while tidying your room, once carelessly misplaced to only reappear when you feel ready to take the next step…
Thanks to our partners .singapore and for housing our brochures! We still have many copies that will soon find their place with other community partners, and you can DM us to ask for some if you’d like some ;)
If you encounter our brochures and know of someone seeking help for recovery or are considering it for yourself, please feel free to take a copy home. Digital version is also available on www.thegreenhouse.sg/brochure (linked in bio). Recovery from trauma and addiction is possible!

Introducing The Greenhouse’s very own abstinence celebration coins!
At the start of every Recovery Meeting, we take some time to celebrate each other’s milestones, whether they are joining for the first time, coming back from a lapse, or have successfully abstained for 30, 60, 90 days, 6 months, 9 months, 1 year, and more...
Abstinence coins are used as tangible markers of recovery and progress. At The Greenhouse, our coins were specially co-created with our clients and commissioned from Heckin’ Unicorn. They bear the words and affirmations that our clients and volunteers found most helpful, serving as an acknowledgement of their commitment and hard work towards recovery, and a reminder that there is a family and community alongside them that also celebrates their achievements.
Recovery is a lifelong process that goes beyond substance use. Multiple studies have shown that the longer the period of abstinence, the greater the satisfaction with life and chances of sustained recovery. This is why we find it important to celebrate milestones and always encourage our members to keep coming back.
Our Trauma-informed 12-Steps Recovery and SMART Recovery Meetings run four times a week, conducted by trained volunteer Peer Supporters and Counsellors. If you would like to seek help for substance use, please reach out to us via our website contact form (linked in bio) ❤️

Last weekend, The Greenhouse held our first Combined Case Conference of the year — nicknamed Grand Rounds, inspired by the healthcare practice of collaboratively reviewing patient cases.
Counselling and Peer Support are two core pillars of The Greenhouse’s recovery model. Our counsellors bring clinical expertise and psychological care, while our peer support volunteers offer vital social support grounded in lived experience. The Grand Rounds provided a shared learning space where these two programs came together, allowing us to learn from one another and explore how better integration can strengthen care for our clients.
The session concluded with a sharing from our Research Workgroup, which draws insight from the work that our counsellors and peer supporters do. Through impact measurement and programme evaluation, the Research Workgroup also helps guide outreach, education, and training efforts to support these programs.
We look forward to exploring synergies across our different programs, with the goal of continuously improving the quality of care at our centre. ✨

So why were Gabriel, Joanne and Nico picking up random objects from the road and making sounds with them?! They have become ASMR masters overnight, adding a new quality to The Greenhouse’s anthem Heal and Grow ;)
Watch our full video on YouTube for our 2025 version of Heal and Grow, dedicated to all those who have felt rejected or are feeling lonely during this festive season.
In 2022, members of The Greenhouse recovery family wrote down their hopes and dreams, for themselves and for the centre. What they wrote was so moving, so fu...

“Why can’t I be more like what other people want me to be?” Joanne, centre manager of Proud Spaces, shares how growing up facing judgement and rejection from others made self-acceptance and self-love a lot harder for herself, and how being at Proud Spaces SG can be empowering for everyone.
Gender euphoria and dysphoria summed up with 2 rocks?!

The Greenhouse is a substance addiction recovery centre for marginalised communities that find it hard to seek help out of shame or fear of discrimination. We provide customised treatment programmes that are holistic and integrated, within a safe and supportive environment.
VISION
We empower people to understand the cause of their substance addiction, in order to recover and lead the lives they were meant to live.
VALUES
The Greenhouse provides a safe and supportive environment, with a strong sense of community, where we can learn, change and grow without fear of prejudice or judgement.
Integrity is important to us, and we have a strong sense of professionalism in ensuring the anonymity of the cases we handle, as well as the confidentiality of the information we are privy to.
We respect diversity and believe in the importance of providing treatment that has been customised to every individual’s unique needs and strengths.
