This Mother's Day, my daughter, Kay and I, will be bringing partner yoga to you! Partner yoga is a great way to build trust and connection while getting a workout. This will be a charity class with 100% profits donated to help the Myanmar Earthquake. So if you like to support the little girl's efforts to do good, do some charity, and have some good fun (and lots of laughter!) bonding with your loved ones while getting a good stretch, do join us! Bring along your loved ones - friends or family, big or small, they are all welcomed! For small children, 7yo and above are preferred so that they can follow the class better. No yoga experience required!

17 days post partum. Ended my post natal massage sessions yesterday and so I decided to step back onto my mat as part of my self-care and recovery regime while Baby Kristine was taking her nap. Prior to my practice this morning, I have already set the intention to just focus on my breathing, alignment and most importantly to listen to my body. Focus on what I can do at the moment, rather than what I used to be able to do. Coming back to the mat after pregnancy is always exciting. It reminds me of how a beginner is like - restricted breath, weak and tight muscles and in my case, loose joints due to the pregnancy hormones as well. Haha! By the end of my 3rd round of Sun Salutation B, I could already feel my arms shaking. Half way through I could feel myself struggling with my ujjayi breath and mula bandha. My limbs were shaking and screaming and I could constantly hear my own teaching voice in my head to focus back on my breath and alignment. I am glad that I managed to get through a 75min self practice. And I trust that with practice, all will come back again.

7 days post partum. The daddy was putting the 2 older ones to bed while I attended to the baby. Kaizen started tearing and said he missed mummy putting him to bed and sleeping with him. So daddy and I switched roles and while I was hugging Kaizen to sleep, Lele started telling her brother:
Didi, you need to look at the bright side of things. At least you know when you wake up the next morning, you will see mummy what. There's no need to be sad. You know it could have been worse?.
So I asked: like how?
Lele: Well mummy you could have died in the hospital and never came back.

The Sees are happy and excited to share that our home bakery Yummy Bakes - has been accepted by Peace of Art to participate in the Sustainable Kids Market 2024, taking place at Marina Square from 25th to 26th May.

This is a community fundraising event that aims to raise $100,000 in funding to facilitate the expansion of the Young Hearts programme by the Singapore Red Cross to support a greater number of underprivileged children with education and mentorship, as well as to provide them with opportunities that will be otherwise out of reach.

Through this KIDSforKIDS initiative, I hope to transform my children into advocates for sustainable living
and fundraiser for the underprivileged, exemplifying the democratisation of philanthropy where even young children like themselves can become givers and change-makers.

We will be selling our home baked muffins at the event. You can support us by:

1. Making a direct purchase at our booth on the event day;
2. Placing an advance order so that we can better estimate the number of muffins to bake for the event and collect at our booth on the event day or;
3. If you would like to show your kind support but are unable to attend the event, you may also make a Pre-event purchase from us and collect or have it delivered on another date.

Thank you for your generosity and kind support for the event!
