Maybe last time grandma also asked her friends, “eh your pelvic floor strong anot ah?”

Maybe it’s time to bring back floor stools and peel potatoes in a squat.

We didn’t lose strength, we just forgot.

It’s not that simple, but also not that complicated.

Who remember that if they can doomscroll and spend two hours to commute and six (idk what’s the standard now) hours working for someone else, their health is just as important.

Honestly, we’re living in Singapore.
A modern city.
We have amazing shopping apps and logistics service.

Have you bought something and realize you don’t need it afterwards?

I find it quite peculiar to spend tens, hundreds, thousands on something that we are not sure if it works yet.

But we don’t look at our body and wonder how to take care of it by building exercising more, being with nurturing and good influence people, cultivating better habits…

I see more mothers and parents starting to take care of themselves now, it’s a new wave.

And I hope the wave comes to you soon too ❤️

At booth D56, Kindle Space is not bringing more things into your hands. We’re here to bring you back into your breathing and body.

Yes, we’ll have our class packs available. But more than that, we’re offering something quieter, a space to pause, to breathe, to feel what you actually need beneath all the noise.

Because peacefulness doesn’t come from having more. It comes from being with yourself, even for a moment.

I bet nobody will read to the end of this post.

We’ve normalised a lot after birth.

Leaking.
Heaviness.
Feeling disconnected from the body.

We say, “nevermind la, it’s normal, it'll go away.”

What we see, again and again, is not a body that is weak.

It is a body that is holding a lot.

Holding the baby.
Holding the worrying, planning, booking, wakings.
Holding everything together.

And when the body is always holding,
it forgets how to soften.

The pelvic floor is not just about strength.
It is about timing.
It is about response.
It is about safety.

Sometimes what is needed is not more effort.

But a return.
To the breath.
To the body.

Why do we like to wait so much?
I don't see us waiting to buy something on promo or discount.
But when it comes to health and wellness,
We think we have the time of the world.

The time is not when it gets worse.
The time is when you begin to notice.

A small signal.
A quiet discomfort.
A sense that something is asking for attention.
