Yoga Connections

Yoga Connections A space for all to move, breathe, and grow. Whether you're a beginner or experienced, our classes nurture strength, balance, and peace.

Join our community and reconnect with your mind, body, and spirit. 🙏 See you on the mat! Yoga Connections came about through the kindness of many great teachers from India, namely, Swami Shantidharmananda Saraswati, a scholar - saint, Swami Akulananada Saraswati Yogananth. All these great teachers were students of Yogi Master Paramahansa Swami Satyananda Saraswati of Bihar school of Yoga. Yoga Connections was founded in 2004 with the philosophy that yoga should be made affordable and accessible to people from all walks of life. We have relocated over the years but our mission to provide affordable yoga to people from all walks of life remains unchanged. With this belief, we have managed to extend our reach of yoga to over 15,000 students over the years and we still have faith in reaching out to many more. Together we hope to spread our love of yoga and offer a lifestyle programme for all to participate regardless of race, age or religion. Come and join us to experience the difference!

Grateful heart, peaceful mind, happy soul — that’s the magic yoga brings. 🌿✨ Each pose reminds us to appreciate our journey, stay calm in the moment, and let happiness flow from within.

🦋 Butterfly to Camel Journey 🐪
Last week’s stretch flow is all about opening up — hips, heart, and mind!
We start with a gentle butterfly pose to wake up the hips, glide into a slow middle split stretch to deepen flexibility, and finish with a beautiful camel pose to open the chest and release tension.

It’s like taking your body on a little adventure — from grounded stillness to a heart-opening lift. Perfect for resetting after a long week! ✨

Our last day before leaving Chiang Mai
—so much happiness in every smile and every moment shared🧡

— children smiling, people giving with love, and the monk sharing blessings. Happiness is really about simple acts of kindness, sharing what we have, and seeing others feel cared for.

Day 2 - Visited Barapot Wittaya School 🌱/ Orphanage Home.
Even when the cold wind blows, these kids remind us to keep believing, keep smiling, and hold tight to our dreams. Their spirit is the warm sunshine on a chilly day. 💛

Day 1 – 温暖之家
Our first day at Warmth Home Orphanage was filled with smiles and gratitude. 💛
We brought along daily essentials — eggs, snacks, toiletries, and school supplies — and seeing the children’s happy faces was the best reward. Their joy reminded us how a little kindness can go a long way.

A meaningful start to this journey, and we look forward to bringing more warmth in the days ahead. ✨

Last night’s practice was all about switching on the rock and roll mode 🎸✨ — strong backbends, fearless heart openers, and that unstoppable flow of energy. Every pose felt like turning up the volume, letting the body groove with strength and grace. Yoga + rhythm = pure freedom.

🔥 Rock your mat, roll with your breath, and shine brighter every move.

Yesterday’s yoga session was a mix of focus and fun 🎉🧘‍♀️ From deep stretches to playful moments, everyone gave their best and left with smiles (and maybe sore muscles 😅). Love how yoga brings both challenge and joy every time! ✨🌿

Yesterday’s yoga class was filled with energy, focus, and strength. 🌿
We flowed through deep backbends like Camel Pose (Ustrasana), challenged balance with Standing Hand-to-Big-Toe Pose variation (Utthita Hasta Padangusthasana), and built core power and flexibility in Plough Pose (Halasana). ✨

Everyone gave their best, supporting each other through the practice and ending the session with smiles and a sense of achievement. 🙏💜

Grace, focus, and flexibility in motion — these yoga poses open the hips, lengthen the spine, and invite deep relaxation. Each stretch is a gentle reminder to slow down, breathe, and be present in your body.

Our Story

For many people, learning yoga postures is about getting fit and in shape. While there are undeniable physical benefits to yoga, the true purpose of yoga goes far beyond losing weight, putting on muscle or becoming flexible.

Yoga postures, or asanas, have a much deeper impact on you

Yoga Connections came about through the kindness of many great teachers from India, namely, Swami Shantidharmananda Saraswati, a scholar - saint, Swami Akulananada Saraswati Yogananth and Yogacharya Vishwas Mandlik of Yoga Vidya Dham. All these great teachers were students of Yogi Master Paramahansa Swami Satyananda Saraswati of Bihar school of Yoga. Yoga Connections started off 14 years ago, since 2006, with the philosophy that yoga should be made affordable and accessible to people from all walks of life. We have relocated over the years but our mission to provide affordable yoga to people from all walks of life remains unchanged. With this belief, we have managed to extend our reach of yoga to over 10.000 people in Singapore over the years and we still have faith in reaching out to many more.
