Yoga Connections

Yoga Connections A space for all to move, breathe, and grow. Whether you're a beginner or experienced, our classes nurture strength, balance, and peace.

Join our community and reconnect with your mind, body, and spirit. šŸ™ See you on the mat! Yoga Connections came about through the kindness of many great teachers from India, namely, Swami Shantidharmananda Saraswati, a scholar - saint, Swami Akulananada Saraswati Yogananth. All these great teachers were students of Yogi Master Paramahansa Swami Satyananda Saraswati of Bihar school of Yoga. Yoga Connections was founded in 2004 with the philosophy that yoga should be made affordable and accessible to people from all walks of life. We have relocated over the years but our mission to provide affordable yoga to people from all walks of life remains unchanged. With this belief, we have managed to extend our reach of yoga to over 15,000 students over the years and we still have faith in reaching out to many more. Together we hope to spread our love of yoga and offer a lifestyle programme for all to participate regardless of race, age or religion. Come and join us to experience the difference!

Rooted, steady, and calm 🌳
Tree Pose (Vrksasana) reminds us to find balance between effort and ease—ground through the standing foot, lengthen the spine, and breathe with focus. When the mind is steady, the body follows.

Partner yoga turns practice into connection šŸ¤
Two bodies, one rhythm—supporting, adjusting, and encouraging each other through strength and flexibility. Every stretch is deeper with trust, every smile makes the effort lighter. A beautiful reminder that yoga isn’t just an individual journey, but something we can share together.

Using the Swiss ball to explore bridge and deep stretches brings a whole new level of support and challenge.

It helps open the chest, lengthen the spine, and release tension—while reminding us to move with control, awareness, and breath.

Strong, playful, and deeply grounding all at once.

Partner stretching time! Looks like we’re helping each other… or pretending to fix each other like a chiropractor šŸ™ˆšŸ˜‚

But ahhh, don’t play play — all these poses must be guided properly by a trained yoga instructor. One wrong move and instead of stretching your buddy, you might ā€˜snap’ your friendship šŸ¤šŸ’›

Stretch safe, laugh more, and always listen to your teacher!

Keep showing up for your yoga practice — even on the days you feel tired, busy, or not at your best. Every step onto the mat is a step toward strength, clarity, and a calmer you. Consistency is where the magic happens.

After every practice, I’m reminded why I show up on the mat — the calm breath, the quiet mind, and the inner peace that follows. No matter how busy life gets, yoga always brings me back to myself.

From Camel pose ,Figure 4 stretch, Bridge pose and a little Handstand play today.
Opening the hips, lifting the heart, expanding the chest, and exploring balance — a beautiful reminder that strength and softness can exist together on the mat.
Every practice is progress, no matter how small. Keep showing up, keep exploring, keep growing. ✨

Sunday well spent at Pulau Ubin with my lovely yogis! 🌿✨
We walked, laughed, explored the forest trails and enjoyed the fresh air together. Such a simple trip but filled with good energy, good company and lots of happy moments. Can’t wait for the next adventure! ā¤ļø

Our Story

For many people, learning yoga postures is about getting fit and in shape. While there are undeniable physical benefits to yoga, the true purpose of yoga goes far beyond losing weight, putting on muscle or becoming flexible.

Yoga postures, or asanas, have a much deeper impact on you

Yoga Connections came about through the kindness of many great teachers from India, namely, Swami Shantidharmananda Saraswati, a scholar - saint, Swami Akulananada Saraswati Yogananth and Yogacharya Vishwas Mandlik of Yoga Vidya Dham. All these great teachers were students of Yogi Master Paramahansa Swami Satyananda Saraswati of Bihar school of Yoga. Yoga Connections started off 14 years ago, since 2006, with the philosophy that yoga should be made affordable and accessible to people from all walks of life. We have relocated over the years but our mission to provide affordable yoga to people from all walks of life remains unchanged. With this belief, we have managed to extend our reach of yoga to over 10.000 people in Singapore over the years and we still have faith in reaching out to many more.
