Our monthly was recently held at Raffles Orthopaedic Centre, Raffles Rehabilitation Centre, and Business Centre!

Alongside our doctors and nurses are our team of frontliners who are essential in our patient's journey here in Raffles. Today's session drew emphasis on the importance of communication and teamwork. Only through clear communication are we able to build trust with our patients and teamwork with our fellow colleagues.

During the segment to highlight patient compliments for staff, the spotlight was put on ANC Loh Sok Hian from Raffles Orthopaedic Centre, Senior Therapy Assistant Ong Wei Qi and Therapy Assistant Luo Jing from Raffles Rehabilitation Centre, as well as SPSO Jeanna Amarthamani Murty and SE Irene See Toh from Business Centre.

Each recipient expressed deep gratitude for the recognition and reaffirmed their commitment to provide exceptional care and always putting patients first.

World Diabetes Day is observed on the 14 November yearly and Raffles Hospital organised Raffles Diabetes Day to raise awareness about diabetes management and promote overall well-being. This event serves as an important platform for the public to learn about effective strategies for managing diabetes, blending both modern medical practices and traditional approaches to care.

The importance of mindful eating habits in managing blood sugar levels was highlighted and attendees were encouraged to embrace healthier lifestyle choices and gain a deeper understanding of the resources available to them for managing their condition.
