Tailbone pain is rarely about one tiny bone misbehaving, it’s often a sign that your body is sharing the load in a way that isn’t working anymore.

As physios, we look into how you move, how long you sit, what your hips and core are doing, and the habits your body has quietly built over time. With the right guidance, small changes can create big relief — without you feeling like you need to perch, clench, or constantly “adjust.”

If you’ve been putting up with tailbone pain for months (or years), you don’t have to keep powering through.
There is a better way to sit, move, and feel supported again.

📅 Book a 1:1 session with a physio and let’s figure out what your body needs.

Sometimes the scariest part of physio is… opening the door.
Not the assessments. Not the exercises. Just the unknown.

But here’s the truth: You won’t get judged. You won’t be told “it’s all in your head.”
And it definitely won’t be awkward (we promise).

You’ll be listened to. Guided. Supported. And you’ll leave thinking, “Oh, I should’ve come sooner.”

If fear of the unknown has been the thing holding you back… this is your sign to take the next tiny step.

We’ve got you.

📅 Ready when you are — book a 1:1 session and let’s figure things out together.

Pilates is effective for improving movement quality, muscle activation, and neuromuscular control. It’s especially valuable for building body awareness, coordination, and control.

However, most group Pilates classes don’t provide enough progressive resistance to reliably stimulate long-term muscle growth on their own.

Strength training using external loads remains the most reliable method for increasing muscle mass, improving metabolic health, supporting bone density, and enhancing mood and overall wellbeing.

And yes — strength training is core training. Your trunk is constantly working to stabilise and transfer load.

That said, Pilates can progressively overload muscle too — when it’s programmed intentionally, progressed appropriately, and executed with precision. The effectiveness isn’t about the label of the exercise, but how it’s coached and progressed.

The most appropriate approach always depends on an individual’s starting point, goals, preferences, and any pain, injury, or movement dysfunction.

For example, if someone lacks movement control or body awareness, Pilates can be an excellent place to begin — before progressing to heavier resistance training when appropriate.

📅 Book a session with our physiotherapists to build strength effectively, and with purpose.

Most women only seek a women’s health physio when things feel urgent.

But here’s the truth — you can use us the way you use your GP or dentist… proactively, thoughtfully, and before things get dramatic.

We’re here when:
✨ Symptoms start to change
✨ Lifting or exercise suddenly feels different
✨ Intimacy feels off
✨ Your body is sending signals you can’t quite decode

Your first session isn’t about “fixing you”, it’s about understanding you. Your body is always telling a story through the way you move, breathe, stand (and we’re really good at translating it).

Your body deserves attention, not only when it’s shouting, but also when it’s quietly whispering.

📅 Ready when you are — book a 1:1 session and let’s figure things out together.

Expecting? Prenatal bodywork is about more than relaxation — it’s about preparing both your body and mind for birth and beyond.

At Embrace, every prenatal session is thoughtfully designed to support you and your baby, with a focus on physical readiness and mental confidence. Our approach includes:

• Comprehensive assessment
• Individualised bodywork
• Pelvic positioning checks
• Breath and mobility guidance
• Pain and symptom management
• Foundations for birth preparation

But don’t just take our word for it. Here’s what one mum shared:

“I first came to Embrace after a difficult first birth, and Preet was incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and kind throughout my recovery. When I became pregnant again, I returned to prepare for my second birth — and I’m so glad I did. The work we did together made my second birth much smoother and more positive. Preet gave me the tools, confidence, and support to feel strong, calm, and ready. The massages with Manual Therapist Dewi were a game changer — I felt deeply connected to my body as I prepared for birth. I can’t recommend Embrace, Preet, and Dewi highly enough for expert pelvic floor care, whether for recovery or preparation.”

Ready to feel supported, strong, and confident — in both body and mind — as you prepare for birth?

Many first-time mums don’t realise how much the pelvic floor needs to open and stretch during labour. These muscles have to lengthen far more than they do in everyday life to make space for baby to descend and rotate.

When the pelvic floor is too tight, unable to relax or stretch, it can:

• Impact the decent of the baby through the birth canal
• Poor biofeddback on the movement of your pelvic floor- can’t tell if you are pushing, tightening or letting go?
• Increase risk of perineal trauma
• Increase duration of 2nd stage labour

That’s why techniques like strengthening, breathing, mobility, and perineal relaxation matter. They help your pelvic floor soften, coordinate with contractions, and release at the right moments—supporting smoother labour mechanics.

In Embrace Birth Prep, we guide you through:
✔ Pelvic floor assessment from 20 weeks
✔ Breathing techniques to help your pelvic floor relax
✔ Birth positions that create more space for baby
✔ Perineal prep from 36 weeks to support comfort and flexibility

Your body is designed for birth—and with the right tools, you can support it to work more efficiently and comfortably.

Embrace Life...Embrace Physiotherapy.

Life is a journey...let me help you embrace it.

A woman’s body is different structurally, functionally and hormonally to men, so treatment naturally requires a specialised approach. Which is why I created a clinic that exclusively empowers women to embrace life.

My vision is to raise pelvic health awareness through advocacy, education and by providing high quality, evidence based physiotherapy services. I work with you in developing an individualised treatment program to help you achieve your goals. This is a partnership.

Whether you need assistance with bouncing forward with pregnancy or post-natal recovery, would like to return to pain free s*x or live life without worrying about having a change of clothes or pads I use my specialised training to identify your contributing factors and create a holistic solution to your problem.
