Earlier this week, our founder, Kenny, had the honour of hosting a group of ISIE delegates at our farm! It was a great opportunity to share how TLF is contributing to the evolution of global agriculture and how Singapore is tackling urban farming challenges through the 30-30 food security goal.

Kenny shared insights on how TLF’s purpose-led business model is driving change – supporting local farmers, building sustainable ecosystems, and giving back to the community. It’s inspiring to be part of this global shift toward more resilient and sustainable food systems.

Grateful for the insightful exchanges and looking forward to continuing this journey towards a more sustainable future!

Thanks to the Sustainable Christmas Market, we recently hosted children from Young Hearts Singapore (Singapore Red Cross) for a special session with our partners at VermsInc. Together, we explored how even insects help close the food loop—turning food scraps into soil and giving back to the farm. That "aha" moment in their eyes? That’s the kind of impact we strive for.

At The Local Farm, we live by No Farmers, No Food. Through our workshops and our book Let’s Discover Our Farms, Singapore!, we’re sparking real-world learning aligned with Singapore’s 30 by 30 goal and MOE’s 21st Century Competencies.
