A senior with pain in his right shoulder had been avoiding movement on that side. After engaging with the session, he began moving freely, forgetting his discomfort as he immersed in making the music.​

What's special about I'm Soul Inc's music making? Hear it from the professionals who witnessed the impact we made!​

In May, we were at Care Concierge Nursing Homes in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, bringing our special music making to seniors there. Many had dementia, Parkinsons, stroke, etc. The seniors came alive and active. The staff had fun. One senior "complained" that the session was too short. ​

Some highlights unfortunately could not be shown for privacy reasons. They witnessed ​

🙂 a senior with advanced Parkinson's smile after being engaged, the first time anyone saw her smile since she lived in the home 3 years ago,​
🎶 A senior who was severely disabled by a stroke and little movement, was thrilled to be able to participate. ​
🕺🏻A senior who with little hearing only in her left ear, was stimulated by the collective energy and moved along with our special choreography.​

The therapists noted that our impact was holistic – cognitive, physical, emotional. We brought a lot more to the seniors than a regular music session. ​

Music can truly transcend age, languages and abilities! We were in Thailand and language was no barrier. Music breaks them down. Dance enhances the connection. ​

Our team was In Bangkok at the Ageing Thailand in end Apr. I'm Soul Inc was invited to share award-winning integrated Music Making solutions for healthy longevity. Our Thai partner Ephrata Music ดนตรีพัฒนาสมอง provided instant translation when Michelle our CEO spoke. The rest of the work is done by music and movement and the amazing Soundbeam. ​

Participants, both young and old, experienced the joy of making music, dancing, and laughing together. Be it at our stage presentations and our booth, everyone got hands-on with the Soundbeam technology and uplifted by our highly engaging facilitation. They felt the immediate confidence and connection that creating music together sparks. No musical background needed! ​

Thailand, like Singapore, has a fast-ageing population. As an award-winning eldercare innovator, I'm Soul Inc was invited to Ageing Thailand 2025 in Bangkok's BITEC to share about our integrated, music-making solutions for healthy longevity, aligned with this year's event theme of longevity with functionality and quality of life. ​

We are very encouraged by the enthusiastic response from many organisations and individuals, all passionate about doing impact work and interested to work with us to help Thailand transition to a gracious society for senior living. ​

Like ยังแฮปปี้ YoungHappy, who is building a community of active seniors. We discussed how I'm Soul Inc is effective and experienced in engaging not just the active, but including those who are frail and less mobile, so that no one is left behind. ​

Like collaborating with who will be launching their patent-pending, wearable device that measures well-being in real time, so that we can demonstrate our impact on health and well-being. Super cool! ​

From not wanting to leave their beds to being engaged for a full hour. That's the I'm Soul Inc difference! ​

We brought our integrated, tech-based Music+Movement programme to a private nursing home in Bangkok, Thailand. Most of the seniors there are frail, disabled, bedridden. ​

Dr Jib, owner of the nursing home, shared how challenging it is to engage her clients. They usually ask to return to their beds after just 10 minutes of an activity. When we were there, the seniors stayed joyfully engaged for a full hour! Even those who did not want to participate initially, joined us later, attracted by the happiness vibes. ​

Gratitude and Rebirth!

2025 is here. We ’m Soul Inc (those in town!), our Board, Team, Extended Team, Volunteers) wish everyone a Happy, Healthy, Amazing New Year ahead!!!

We look back at 2024 with so much Gratitude. We deepened and widened our impact, uplifted more beneficiaries, continued our journey with existing clients and partners, and embraced many new ones. Seeds sown will spread our unique Social Prescription for happiness and community-building to the region. Watch this space! We expanded our team. We pitched to the (Singapore University of Social Science) that the pandemic nearly took us down. but we persevered. They voted for us – we won 1st Place. We celebrate our Rebirth!

Intercontinental Alliance for Integrated Care (IAIC) Launch, hosted by the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS)

Integrated Care is the way to go. We are all souls in a physical body. Care must consider not just our physical, but also our total health and well-being (mental, social, emotional).

Grateful to be showcased at the Intercontinental Alliance for Integrated Care (IAIC) launch hosted by the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) where Deputy Prime Minister Heng (DPM) Swee Keat was the Guest of Honour. DPM chatted with I’m Soul Inc Founder and CEO ( Lee) and our Music Making Facilitators there, who are all seniors. Later, he mentioned in his speech how we use music to tackle loneliness and isolation, and in his Facebook message.

I’m Soul Inc has always rooted for Integrated Care. Medicine is not the only cure. It is the basis of the design of our integrated, inclusive, tech-based Music Making solutions as a Social Prescription for loneliness and isolation. We harness music for its immense universal healing power to rewire our brain and nurture our soul. We incorporate dance and movement to release negative emotions and invigorate our body. We use enabling music technology to break barriers of accessibility. We inject creativity and passion to facilitate happiness and human connection. We create jobs for purposeful longevity – for seniors, by seniors. We then blend these ingredients together into a potent potion that uplifts mind, body and soul. We add happiness and life to years.

Thanks again to SUSS for this opportunity to share our mission. We made new friends and reconnected with old friends. Many from across the world expressed their wish to collaborate with us to impact more lives. Such events are precious for human connections and alliances to achieve our vision of a happier, healthier, more compassionate and inclusive world.
