The knee can get pretty noisy, especially when it snaps, crackles or pops when bending it.

There are a few causes behind these noises, ranging from simple changes in pressure inside the joint to arthritis and worn-out kneecaps. If it is the former, it is mostly harmless. BUT when paired with pain, swelling or stiffness, it could signal the latter.

Our experts can help get to the root of those noisy knees, ease discomfort and strengthen the support structures around your joints — so your knees move better, not louder.

Think your neck rests at night? Not if your pillow is letting it down. 🛌💥

A pillow that is too high or too low can force your neck out of its natural alignment, putting pressure on the muscles and joints, leading to strain and pain. When choosing a pillow, you want it to be comforting and supportive rather than be a pain in the neck.

Our physiotherapists can assess your needs and guide you to the pillow that is best for your neck as well as a good night’s sleep:

If one pillow feels good, three must feel amazing, right? WRONG!

More pillows do not translate to better sleep. If anything, they can push your head forward or tilt your neck at awkward angles. You will end up waking up to stiffness, headaches or even shoulder pain.

A single, properly chosen pillow is recommended to keep your head and neck aligned with your spine, promoting a neutral sleeping position.

Cracking your neck once sure feels good, but every few hours? That is a red flag! 🚩

That satisfying “pop” in your neck might bring momentary relief, but habitual neck cracking could signal underlying instability or tension your body’s trying to compensate for. Do it frequently enough and you will end up with irritated joints, strained ligaments and even long-term instability in your neck.

If you find yourself constantly needing that click, it is your body’s way of asking for real support. Physiotherapy can help you address the root cause, improve alignment and feel truly at ease.

Experience lasting relief with us today without relying on that risky crack:

Have you ever woken up to find that one of your hands is "asleep"? ✋💤

That “dead arm” feeling you sometimes wake up with is often caused by compressed nerves. It is usually from waking up in awkward positions that pinch or restrict blood flow.

For most people, waking up with numb hands once in a while is not a cause for concern and the numbness usually fades within minutes. However, if your symptoms are interfering with your sleep and persist after you are up, it may be time to consult a physiotherapist.

Feeling fine after a workout…only to wake up the next day feeling like you got hit by a truck. Sounds familiar?

That is Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS). Caused by tiny tears in your muscle fibers as your body builds back stronger, DOMS usually strikes 24 to 72 hours after unfamiliar or intense exercise.

While DOMS is completely normal, arming yourself with physiotherapy can ease that post-workout soreness and speed up recovery so you can train smarter and bounce back faster.

Don’t let DOMS stand in the way of your recovery. We are here to help:

That heavy, nagging pressure is not just in your head. It is in your spine too!

A lot of that pressure comes from long hours sitting at your desk. It may seem harmless but over time, it can slowly compress your spine, tighten your muscles and slowly wear down your posture.

Regular movement is key to taking some of that pressure of your back. Clock in at least 5000 steps a day. Workout at least 3 times a week. Take stretch breaks in between work. And when the aches do not go away, physiotherapy steps in to realign and build back better posture.

Let us help you undo the strain modern life puts on your back:
